I had an NC-30 for 8 years here in Thailand. A 1989, with the red and black fire scheme paint job, and red rims. I loved it. It sounded great, cornered great, and rode so well.

Ewww, sry but that isn't a good look. I have an NC30 here in the states and would never give it up. There is no sound like it. When the motor is built out correctly it can pull to 18,000rpm all day long. So you sort of get two power bands, one from 9 to 12500 then 13,500 to 18,000. It's a track slayer in race trim. The only thing holding it back is it 18inch rear wheel. Most either get a NC35 wheel or a conversion kit for a VFR750. But for street use it seems all the new bikes are skipping on the passenger seats. There is less and less there for her to be comfy. Shrug. I guess would just be happy if they kept the motor the same but lost the rocker arm for shim under the bucket. With Kawi coming out with their zx400rr this would be a good time to bring the NC30 refresh back. That is if they can keep the price low. It use to be the only difference in price between a RC30 750cc and the NC30 400cc was 1500 bucks. And no one is going to spend 14 grand in today's, money for a 400cc bike. Not even me.
