Bedard won the Calder, they say its the hardest trophy to get back to back but I believe :^)

I wonder...a player's eligible for the Calder if they haven't played over 25 games in a prior season or two seasons with six or more games. If a goalie came in played 25 games and had 25 shutouts in that time and dragged the team to the playoffs, he'd have a strong case for the Calder. Would he still be eligible the next season since he hadn't played over 25 games as long as he met the other requirements? I expect he would have a lot of people opt to vote for someone else over him either because they don't know if he's eligible or they don't think he should be.
