One thing to note about broberg and Holloway is that not only were they on the Oilers, they also played often together in Bakersfield. Even though they're defence and offence, they have an idea of each's playing style. The blues not only got two young guys with potential but two guys with some chemistry.

If I was the Oilers... I would've done whatever is necessary to keep Broberg! A 22 Year Old D men that can hang in your Top 6... is not something that you wanna give up! I Personally would've been willing to offer a 1st & Half retained on Nurse to try & make it happen! Probably would've failed... but would've made it known I was looking to move Nurse out!!!

I liked Holloway but he was a bottom six forward on a team up against the cap. I wish him well but if he felt like he'd be happier elsewhere good riddance.. The Oilers found replacements that are all in on trying for another run at the cup
