Based off of the WHC-17 we’re getting a lot of small skilled forwards and a stacked year for the USNTDP and Swedes
@saltywingsandavsfan5 күн бұрын
One player I really like is Billy Zonnon. He’s a very aggressive skater from Rouyn-Noranda. I’ve liked his compete and off puck play so far. Hopefully he can be a late to mid first rounder.

2:25. That goal was sick. Those are two vet o s 20 year old d man misa undresses for that goal. Not playing third line minutes next season will see misa's numbers go up. And misa's vision to find the open man is sick too. His shot-exceptional. And misa beat la second round pick c.george in net.

Frondell is my number 2 and the only reason sweden didnt get farther in the u18 tournament was beacause he was injured if he wasnt injured he would have beenn the top scorer on sweden and i dont think it would be close
@jett27j305 күн бұрын
That is a stacked top 10. I do agree mostly with that list for top 10. Before this year, I would've had misa #1, but those numbers from Hagens are something else.

@jett27j305 күн бұрын
@@Whatdoingdog44 last year as in bedard or celebrini? Bedard top 10, pribably even middle ten is better than next year, but next year easily crushes celebrini top 10

@@jett27j30 The draft we just had. The top talent in this previous draft out shines the talent in this current top ten. The 2024 draft is not as flashy but the talent overall is better and the top tier of the forward group in 2024 draft is a lot more talented than the 2025 group. Celebrini Demidov Lindstrom, Catton, Iginla. Beats out Hagans, Frondell, Martone,McQueen or Misa. And the D prospects are not even close so thats not even a discussion. 2024 had the best crop of defensive prospects in a long time.

@@nhldraftpros As a Finnish hockey fan I really hope that he will be a first rounder. Max Westergård is another Finnish prospect who could probably be a first round pick too. He´s one of the youngest draft eligible players for the 2025 draft and he´s in one of the best player development systems in the world when he´s playing in Frölunda U20 in Sweden.

I think Ryabkin and Frondell overtake Martone and McQueen. This draft has a lot of older prospects born in September- November. Martone is an October birthday and McQueen missed the cut off for the 2024 draft by a few weeks. Their numbers relative to the 2024 class were a bit weaker. I think Frondell shows more upside and Ryabkin being a center with a 2 way game and actual elite skill puts him ahead

Seeing how many of the top 10 on this list are forwards makes me think maybe my Blackhawks can end up with a talented winger line mate to Bedard after all. Maybe soften the blow of them choosing Levshunov over Demidov haha. I do really want the Hawks to draft Sascha Boumedienne though. Also, look out for Victor Eklund (younger brother of William Eklund of the San Jose Sharks), he’s going to be a big riser on most boards as the year goes on.

I'll bet a Canadian goes 1st , and 3 or 4 more Canadians are taken in the top ten.

Hagens already reminds me of Fantilli
@davecartwright46104 күн бұрын
Stylistically they arent even close. Fantilli is a big powerful 2 way well rounded center who plays a straight line game. Hagens is a smaller faster shiftier playmaker offensive dynamo. If both players reach max potential think fantilli akin to anze kopitar and hagens akin to jack hughes. Both supreme talents but their games are very different.

The Flames need to finally stop being terrible at winning as well as terrible at losing. So tired of watching them draft ~10 to 20. It does very little to improve the team and just keeps them in the most mediocre franchise in NHL history realm. A title they've earned many times over. The tank has commenced, and they need to be drafting top 3 minimum.
