Great stuff as Always Crystal. The tip on making a template out of page and having it be the default page for THAT SECTION is GOLD! Thanks for sharing.

This is great. I will start building my planner, I love one note. I just need to remind myself to only have a few planners because I want them all. Always thinking they are going to help me get all my information together.

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for this. I set up my planner along side you, with tweaks. This helped a lot with the organization of it. I had so many pages under my "year long" section it was overwhelming. Categorizing them and placing them into sections was what I needed. Thanks.

I tried Etsy planners for Onenote, but I was limited in design. Then, I found your KZbin videos. I'm in the process of building my own planner with the help of your videos for Onenote. I'm by no means a pro at Onenote. Do you have a video showing how you created the tabs on the top and side? Thank you and I'm looking forward to your next video. Happy Planning!
@CrystalClearLife29 күн бұрын
Here’s a link to the video where I talk about adding the tabs. Remember they can either be in horizontal or vertical position depending on how you create your table. In my current notebook, I have a horizontal across the top four other pages inside and other links outside of OneNote. And I have a vertical positioned set of tabs down the side for my dailies. This link should help you figure out how to set up those for yourself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJS9eHtvZtmlj7csi=qqeNZQagmFVw9GTo

Hi Crystal. Thanks for your videos always pick up something new. I’ve been a 1note user for years, but last year was the 1st time I went digital for planning vs. Franklin Planer weekly. I was also recently diagnosed with ADHD at age 60. I can plan my days, but then fail to execute that plan so I spend my time tracking what I actually did accomplish. I have 4-6 work initiatives that I manage with multiple teams ranging from 1(me) to 7 (3 different teams). I do have a couple questions: 1. I use a week view to track my weekly to-dos, assigning them daily for work. I don’t see why daily planning is required in this case. What are your thoughts. I find daily tracking very stressful. What are thoughts on why daily should be used? I didn’t see a video on how you are using the Franklin planner daily with your weekly. 2. I have to separate my work planners that does include family to-dos and events, from my personal life (retirements planning, health, hobbies, journaling). My personal plan is mostly on an IPhone vs my works is done on a PC and iPad Air. Using 1Note on a iPhone is much harder. Do you use the planner on an iPhone? Do you have different layout you use for iPhone vs PC/iPad? 3. One note search capability across notebooks make it extremely useful. (I have between 4-7 notebooks, one for each initiative/programs.) I have to figure out how to design/build my personal planner on an iPad vs. on a computer. Duplicating my work layouts not be a good use of my time as I hate reentering information more than once. Sharing real-time data between work and personal is not allowed. Thank you for your thoughts!

1. It's great to hear you're using OneNote for planning! I think a daily planning approach might be helpful for you see your accomplishments and celebrate your wins,. It might also hide other things that may be distractions. But if you are happy and working well with just a detailed weekly then I wouldn't change. The Franklin planner page has a great area for lots of detailed notes that you may find helpful. I also created a weekly that turns into a daily. I think I called it a WAILY - bad pun I know, So I think if you want to try a daily go ahead, but it's ultimately about what works best for you. 2. I do use myphone to paln on. I have an android and I use the same forms that I show on my desk top. I create the layouts on my desktop and I can then use them on my phone or iPad. I find that the use of tables for many of the components of my pages makes it easier to use on my other devices. Nesting those tables into 1 larger table also keeps things from moving around too much on the page. 3. It is possible to create and design on the iPad, but again the functionality of the desktop version is much better than the iPad. For example I have to use the customized tags on my inbox every month because the iPad only has the single ToDo task. not good enough for me. It sounds like you are doing a really good job at managing all of your projects and tasks using OneNote. I think that is awesome. Learning strategies to help you live with ADHD gift is not always easy but can be very rewarding in the end. I am sure you know the value in setting and sticking to daily routines. Seems like you are doing great. Thanks for reaching out. Let me know if you have any other questions.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let's set up those planners! What are you plans for 2025?
@Linne1974Ай бұрын
Wow, and I always thought I was overdoing it with the organization. ;-) Some interesting ideas... Do you use a "normal" calendar (Outlook/Google) too? And a tool for tasks like todoist? And how did you manage the two lines in your "Notes" template?
@CrystalClearLifeАй бұрын
I do use a Google calendar to record all appointments and other items. I refer to that calendar as part of my weekly review and add the needed items to my OneNote planner. Some feel that this is redundant but I find it intentional and really helps me focus on what I need to do for the week. I hope this helps.
@Linne1974Ай бұрын
@@CrystalClearLife Yes, that is definitely redundant and that is not good. But if you can still deal with it better, then that's OK. I have something similar in mind. I want to plan my day (appointments, tasks, notes) with a OneNote page that I permanently pin to the right third of my monitor, even though I already have everything digitally, of course. Partly with a keyboard, partly with an iPad and pen. I'm just wondering whether it might even be possible to do all of your planning analogue. For me, it fails because I have to share at least my calendar digitally. What is the problem for you in only working with the analogue Franklin Planner? And again: "And how did you manage the two lines in the headline of your "Notes" template?" ;-)

Crystal how did you find the lined template. I am not finding it in my One Note. I love all this info.
@CrystalClearLifeАй бұрын
I created it on my desktop version of OneNote. Adding a new page with view - ruled lines and then adding a bolded line around my page title. Save as a page template. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.🥰
