So this is basically the new Carrera S, just without lots of the features that the S got (and marketing it as the "enthusiast" option by giving it a manual only? Porsche just doing Porsche things by hiking prices and being genius marketers.

The Carrera S will have more power but will weigh more and of course will be available in PDK.

@ ah I hadn’t heard of them bringing back the S yet. Other than some minor weight reduction though, seems like that would be the way to go if it will be available in a manual. That is unless they hike up the price so much more.

There's enough features on the standard car. PPTS very tempting though if you plan to keep it forever.

I really wish they don't include rear-axle steering for a T model.

Hmm yeah would be nice but to have the option. Passive rear axle is not that much of a difference on road driving. RAS does not add much, but it makes you feel a little bit like Walter in tight corners and gives you a lot of corner stability and higher speed in fast curves. It certainly makes the car feel more agile and nimble. Btw Ii drive a non-RAS 992.1 T an I like that way because I am that analogue kind of guy.

White with the T-package is the way to spec this car. 6-Speed manual and bigger breakes are nice but not worth an upgrade from the older Ts, while the 991 was the most emotional of the bunch. I don’t lke the all digital dashboard, the new fabrics, and the overpatronizing EU safety systems. With the price jump I would rather go for 992.1, the narrow bodied 991.2 or maybe 991.2 GTS.

I love the exterior. But I feel like the interior is more Audi then Porsche they ditch the turn key and added a push to start. Also lost the analog gauges in favor of screens.
