$2K for a compound bow is ludicrous, and that goes for all these compound bow companies. By the time you add all the accessories and tax, you are talking $2500. This is the reason I am still shooting my lights out 2003 hoyt cybertec xt2000 cam and a half. I just re-string it "using my ancient bow press" when needed.

PJ giving away the engineering secrets. Also it shouldn’t be called Dynamic Brace height. It’s still statics. PJ won’t say it but I will the bows that gets shorter at full draw is Mathews. I own a V3 and it’s a great fast bow but acts like a 5” brace bow. Not new information just more advanced archery info and most people don’t understand physics and statics.

@@LancasterArcherySupply thanks for the kind math lesson. Let me correct my question. They have mach30, levitate 32, mach 33, mach 34 and mach 35. It's good to have options if they released same time. But do we really need exact same bow in every lenght? I thought it would be better if they develop a new bow instead of same bow an inch longer or shorter.
@LancasterArcherySupply12 күн бұрын
Some years changes to bows and technology are more incremental and harder to notice when compared to other years' releases. There were certainly improvements made for each new iteration of the current lineup, and maybe the near future will bring a larger departure from their current lineup than we have seen in recent years.
@fredtaylor12059 күн бұрын
I feel like compound bows have hit a wall. They change very little and mainly cosmetic changes to please the eyes. Even he said “basically it’s the same bow”. They all are still shooting under 300 fps for the most part. Still regulated at 75%-80% let off. And wow they do not hold value. Wait one year and get it well over half price. Buy one that fits you and don’t try to keep up with the Jones’s.
@LancasterArcherySupply8 күн бұрын
There is an ebb and flow between all the major manufacturers releasing new bows and new technology to push the envelope. Sure, maybe PSE didn't reinvent the wheel this year (mainly because they didn't need to) but who knows what exciting things the likes of Mathews and Prime and Hoyt and Bowtech have in store? Not to mention Darton's new tuning system which is GREAT. Also your last sentence is just good advice, plain and simple.

In my view that " full draw stability" is just selling bla bla bla. My bows shows way higher " dynamic brace height" (whatever sense that word might make) at full draw. Simply depends on the shape of the cams and the limb angle.
