I purchased the 2024 Ram 1500 Ltd Night Edition 5.7L V8 Hemi. I am very happy with it.

@@PeterMacGrergor I have the hemi myself and you made the smart purchase. Good luck with it and many happy miles.

I bought the same thing in April coming from a 2020 GMC with the 6.2. No lack of torque with the 3.92 gears. Great truck! I test drove a 2025 with the standard Hurricane. It was underwhelming and I wanted a V8 anyway.

Personally I'm looking to get a good deal on a 24 rebel gt as I like the ram air & the exhaust & a real shifter it does everything well & it's old school like me

You get the High Output engine and you complain about fuel economy? LOL I'm guessing the HO engine will have a few more issues than the non HO Hurricane but from what I've seen so far the standard Hurricane engine has done pretty well so far.

I predict a Hurricane of recalls and repairs for this new Stellantis Ram design.

There will be some. But not record breaking recalls like Ford. Just to start with. Then GM second highest. So ya I’m. It worried. Ford and GM at least set a record that is hard to break…😂 yup Ram can’t beat that 😂

Hurricane is a POS, already blowing head gasket, tstat problems, electrical problems, overheating issues, plastic engine.... junk

Im about 6 months into a 25 Rebel with the Hurricane, standard output, and I am really impressed with the power compared to my 6.2 GMC. I've towed , hauled, carried, and done all the truck things in it, plus its downright sports car fast. Like nail it at 40mph and it's not chirping the tires, it roasts the 33" tires, and goes sideways 9f the traction control isnt on. You've got to really watch it & that's with the standard output engine. From a dead stop, if you have the traction control on it limits power, but turn that off where it's not limiting the power & its burns the tires like a 16 year old that just sidestepped his daddys Mustang GT. No truck ive ever had does that, what a fun truck, I just towed my 35' boat to storage, & it towed it great. Ive had several Hemi Rams, GMC AT4, a Denali, F150,'s, none of them had power anything like this new Hurricane engine. I've had 5-6 friends drive it & the response is holy sh*t, this is awesome! My co-worker just got a 25 Laramie & my bro in law just got a Rebel too, no issues on any of them. I'm already itching for an RHO.

@@carsareaddictive7450 I love the idea of an in-line six engine, but you are 100% right the engine has major issues. It’s gonna take at least a couple of years to get that engine right too much plastic for what I’m hearing from other Mopar guys on KZbin they might be bringing back the the V8 engine and the prices of these trucks are way out of line

@@MONGO573Look at Fords. All plastic also. Ford mechanic even states in 10 years there plastic won’t last. There all doing it. Stupid actually but make it light weight and cheaper to produce and hurt the pockets of the consumers. People don’t sound intelligent knocked the new I6 and say all that plastic. Yet there driving plastic also and will have issues.. ya…🤷🏻👍

@@ramrider1453 head, gaskets going thermostat, housings melting This is just the beginning of a mess and you have to run high test through it then you have a lot of these KZbin channels also stating this is the greatest engine that ever existed. It’s better than the hemi which I find odd how is that hemi’s been around for 21 years this engine just came out. It’s an expensive roll of the dice and I would not want to be the test guinea pig myself
