Especially considering a performance model 3 will smoke that scat pack and costs $20k less. However, I think the charger EV is the best looking EV on the market. I’m gonna give it a couple years, then I’ll trade the model 3 in my driveway for a new EV charger. Dodge will have to work all the kinks out and get that price down before I get real serious about getting one.

To be fair though most stock commercially available muscle cars were also not the fastest cars when released. I personally love the sound, feel, and look of the large displacement ICE vehicles, top speed I don't even consider, personally. I think this should have been an OPTIONAL power train, and I do appreciate them keeping a "real car" look and interior vs the sterile soulless all screens look most EV's opt for. If given this I would keep it. If spending my own money, ICE large displacement ALL DAY, matter of fact we just got a 6.2L Boss F350 and I could NOT be happier, makes me smile every time I start it and the speakers play music and talk radio while the engine/exhaust handle the engine/exhaust note lol.

@@AE86FTS I doubt it. The company has to even with Trump in office substantially raise its fleet MPG standard. Under Trump is when they got hit with a 232 million dollar CAFE violation penalty. I sincerely doubt he will roll the MPG standard back to below what he set it at in 2020. That means for 2026 a corporate fleet average of 40.4 MPG. I have heard rumors they were working on a new Magnum V-8. That would be a better possibility then the Hemi being resurrected. I would still expect them to severely limit the amount of V-8's they potentially build and sell in the future. Expects lots of EV's PHEV's, EREV's and four and 6 cylinders. Trucks and SUVs are the best place to offer a V-8. I would still expect them to be limited like with the Durango and the Power Wagon.

The interior looks great, the exterior isn’t that bad. The correct engine line up should’ve been the standard Hurricane Inline 6 or 6.4 Hemi as base engines, High Output Hurricane Inline 6, the Hellcat engine, and the Banshee EV with 1200 HP.

I worked at a Dodge Chrysler and Plymouth dealership as a line technician replaced many of those head gaskets and timing belts on those Chrysler 4-cylinders. The Daytona Shelby IROC Z a later models came with a Lotus 4-cylinder turbo.

It doesn’t matter what motor goes under the hood of this thing, it is just way too expensive! Who the hell is going to spend $70,000 plus on a crappy quality Dodge. 😂😂😂. Challenger and charger sales in 2022 and 2023 were on the floor. Prices were just too damn high!!!!!!!

Dodge sold more of those challengers and chargers than Camaro’s didn’t they? Oh that’s right they quit making Camaros because nobody would spend that kinda money on that steamy mess😝

@ dodge sold most of it 2023 challengers and chargers in 2024. Very few sold in 2023. Their sales were in the dump. There are still thousands of 2023 leftover Challenger and chargers as of today and they’re still will be plenty more in 2025 sitting on lots. It was just way overpriced for what it really was. A 1970s platform vehicle that came back out in 2008 with only one minor change in 2015. Poor quality, paint, interiors, etc., etc. etc. They should be happy, they had a great run, but I believe it is all over for Stellantis. They had been announcing the Camaros departure for two years so not many interested in purchasing a new Camaro. Also, Camaro production was limited for 2023/2024. The ZL1 was a fantastic vehicle and the only Camaro I would purchase.

@ the 2021/2022/2023 Dodge charger is built in Canada buy a multinational company named Stellantis. Same thing goes for the Dodge Challenger. Technically, they are not a United States vehicle.

I like the style of it, i seen it earlier this month at the LA auto show. And got to sit in it. Really nice interior. I'm really interested in the 6 pack
