Idk how my mom did it with 5 kids. We all knew how to read by 4, two languages and our house was always in order. She's disciplined to this day!

Loved this whole video. Last year I bought a giant wall calendar and I filled it up with fun activities with the kids, date nights, vacations, friend outings…best decision and I am doing it again this year.

I love this so much! Going through my calendar was fantastic advice. My only issue with this is my negatives are all things I can't simply not do or schedule away. My father-in-law still needs care and advocacy, I'm still chasing my health, etc. I know that I can break those things down into pieces and delegate or create baby steps, but I wish you'd covered what to do when your 20% negative is things you have to make room for.

This was a very impactful exercise. I just looked at all of the photos in my phone and noted all of the positive events. It brought so many good feelings and realized where I need to spend more of my time! ☺Thank you!

Many thanks!Good to just have made an overall review audit of 2024. Easier to let go of things and people that do not serve me well. Focus on the good and better things for me for 2025.

Very effective method! I do a slightly same version as well. I review my whole year, write down my wins and then also look what didn't go in the way I wanted to. Thank you for sharing. I always enJOY your content. 🤩

We are dual military. We do all of it alone for up to a year sometimes🤦🏻♀️ it is certainly hard! I had a 2 1/2 year old and a newborn 😮💨 love this! Thanks

Here doing recon for the guys. I have to say, its crazy how different these types of videos are in the men- vs women-sphere. Ours is more do the hard, sucky things, etc, whereas this is more do what gives you peace. It's quite a different perspective. Thanks

Here's a tip for turning bedtime into a positive: It involves getting those precious moments in with a routine. You could transition walking the baby into reading to both your sweethearts at the same time. I have found that they cuddle up to you and soak up the parent time, or as I found, grandparent time. They will love hearing your voice at bedtime. They will get into the routine and ask for the story. As an added plus, I have read that the earlier you start reading to your kids, the earlier they start reading.

Amazing content in this video! I rarely suggest anything in comments, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is a game-changer. It provides deep knowledge on wealth and self-care that can really make a difference. Take care, everyone

Wooooooorst idea if you want to start from the scratch with planning. This is something you have to do during the year because this excercise expects you to have already a perfect filled calendar/ agenda. On top of that, if you decide only to continue with the positive feeling activities how are you going to grow out of your comfort zone?

@learning2-live31211 күн бұрын
If you don’t use your phone calendar or a planner, you can do the same thing with photos. Mel Robbins has a similar thing but she uses pictures from her phone & a printable worksheet. It’s on her website & KZbin.

Thank you for the helpful tips! 😊 I like how you talk about working around overcommitment. In Western countries it is much easier than for us in Africa 😅. Lol. On the upside though, baby sitters are readily available at a fairly low wage compared to the US hourly rate.

Definitely don't over commit worh a baby! One activity per day!! But as they get older 2- 3 activities a day just for them is perfect. Such as a park in the morning. Home for lunch and rest then swimming in the afternoon. Also visiting a friend or family member once they drop the afternoon nap.
