The Kyoto Tachibana High School Symphonic Band was very famous among girls' high schools as a brass band club of an all-girls' high school until 2000, and its Zasso Contest performances held nationwide reigned at the top. Since the coeducational system was established after 2000, we wondered if we could have our own "performance and formation"! and "the challenge of brass band reform" began at this high school, so this is a brass band that cannot be easily imitated in Japanese high schools. High school life in Japan ends after three years, and after graduation, students choose a career path of university or employment. Taking this process into consideration, the seniors are taught the "fundamentals, performance, coordination, and performance" that they will surely pass on to their juniors from their junior year of high school, so that each year in their junior year they create new formations and performances as a sign of graduation that they will never forget. This is the essence of the Kyoto Tachibana High School Symphony Band and its unique spirit.
