I think it is one of Schleichs better figures in recent years, the general body proportions looks acurate, but I agree that the area under the head and neck is very shrunken in, would have been nice with a troat poach, but I think they did this to make it easier to articulate the lower jaw.

I love everything about this figure except the eye being so high up and the subtle hint of JW giga spikes. If I get to, definitely will get this one

You are so right about the fact that it looks generic as hell. Looks like they just put these schleich scutes over the restored skull and called it a day. It is very similar to the Trex they recently rerelased as Tarbosaurus. Very bland

One of Schleich's better recent figures! Personally I can't see myself picking it up, but like their 2024 Allosaurus this figure would be great for a kid of a collector who's on a budget. Not bad at all and I'm happy to see that Schleich can still put out a good figure, even after stuff like their Moros or Concavenator.

I'm from Germany and I think the figures from Schleich are not as good as they used to be, because the company has just moved and therefore the figures have to be produced faster. In addition, all schleich figures are now made of a new material. I just hope that the figures will get better again when Schleich has rearranged everything. But I think that the Carcharodontsaurus looks pretty cool and as soon as I see it in the store I'll buy it. Very nice review Andy. 💚

@@Herrerablox at least both Papo and Schleich were what I considered as founders of realistic models. Thanks to them, we got REBOR, Nanmu, PNSO, etc that does the same. At least for me, it was Papo and Schleich that started me collecting Dino models.

I absolutely agree with all of you. I LOVE older Schleich figures and feel like their quality has been on the decline for quite awhile. They still make fun figures but nowhere near as nice as they used to.

Carcharodontosaurus meilleur en précision que le giganotosaurus jw , j’aimerais juste qu’il soit légèrement plus large et paraît plus lourd. 7:56 la sculpture de la tête est basé sur les reconstitution de ( ~ 160 cm pour le crâne) malgré cela sa tête et proportionnelle trop grand probablement .

Is the hierarchy of rubber/solid dinos: Halon > Papo > Schleich? Still somewhat new to all this but that seems to be my observation

I think the critic for scheich in general is a bit over the top. Yes they did some strange looking Models (but other companies as well). But the same time they released some good stuff in the past. But more important, Schleich never had an aspiration to release PNSO like Models! Furthermore their Dinosaurs have their unique look which makes them quite interesting...But yes, Schleich should do more to improve and learn from the mistakes they did with regard the sculpting especially...However the C. looks quite good, def. better than most of the other Dinosaurs they recently released...

This is the only 2025 schleich figure that isn't garbage. It's inaccurate but who cares at this point, as long as it's cool as hell and vaguely looks like what it's supposed to it's a win by schleich standards

Schleich for me is beloved. They have their own art style on their dinosaurs. It’s almost like a cartoon version of Dino’s It’s cool when you take it like that and not notice all the little non scientific details

It's rubbery, but not super soft. Feels similar to the last few years figures. I don't notice a drastic difference or anything.

I like it, don't get me wrong. On one side I think it looks really nice, but that awkward look to the left side of the figure really screws it up for me. I actually love the Schleich line, but I love older Schleich a lot more than newer Schleich. I feel like whoever they have sculpting now makes their figures look a lot more awkward than they used to be.
