It’s what most of us buy around my area. Not into big money sleds. I bought my 2020 ren adr 600 for 10,500 brand new. Coming from a 2005 600 knee killer I was delighted and still am. Some good deals on these sleds rt now close to the 10k range. More of this please. We like the cheap sleds and reviews on them lol👍🏻

I bought the MXZ Blizzard 600R 137 last year and this is more than enough sled for me. My daughter has an older 2018 Renegade 600 137. We might get 200-400 km in a year. Both of these sleds are more than enough for us to enjoy some trail riding. I grew up driving an old Polaris TX 340 in high school. I went through a few 4 stroke CATS - super fast but heavy. I don't need an 850 and most of us do not.

The fuel and oil efficiency of the 600R cannot be overstated. Ya, it won't lift the skis at 70mph like an 8fiddy, but it's unbelievable bang for the buck

Great review! Ski-Doo offers accessory shock upgrade packages, or shock shops have aftermarket options if you decide you would like upgrade at some point. I have seen new take-offs or good used options from the aftermarket performance and shock shops or on various for sale groups on the interwebs.

This would absolutely be the sled I would buy. Except for maybe the MXZ600 sport? A man needs to know his limits. 600 class is mine.

Wait till next fall find one of these as a leftover and boom you are getting a great 600R mxz for i bet close to 10grand, a few years ago I bought a 2019 mxz blizzard 850 for 11,900 it was a leftover and actually it was march of 2020 and the 2021s were already being spring ordered...

I'd like to see some mid and entry level 850 reviews. I've heard nothing but good things on the 650s and less good about the 850s reliability, but i really feel I'll need a 850 at the 10-12k feet where i usually hit the mountain.

Good review. I just picked up mine with the Blizzard package in a 137. Still wondering about the skis. Going to put navigators and mavericks on it.
@snowtraxАй бұрын
Skis are the only shortcoming of that Blizzard package.
@gordonmckay914Ай бұрын
@snowtrax Yes, I agree. Also the Rengades without the new front end. I see Ski Doo is selling a kit to put the new A arms and spindles on non current models.

This sled suits 95% of all trail riders based on how 99.9% of them ride, but their insecurities make them buy sleds they don't even use to their max capabilities.
@joshgessinger4509Ай бұрын
I think its great idea to give the entree level sleds more attention. Lets face it sleds have gotten so expensive but lot of technology today compared to 10-20 years ago. Not everyone wants or needs the craziest shocks with tons of adjustments that most people don’t use lol!! Im so sick of hearing $20,000 for a new snowmobile. Ya id u want to top dog ur going to pay that. But lot of left overs out there saw a 2024 arctic car riot 8000 at my dealer for just under $13000. Lot of sled for the money today or even 30 years ago. People forget the 92 Vmax 4 was $13,500 lol!!

Please touch on your next "entry" level video if "rack" steering is a game breaker...? And skidoo is confusing all of us with adrenaline (standard?), adrenaline blizzard, x, xrs (rack) and who knows if the adrenaline Backcountry is rack or not? I purchased a 24 bc x mostly for the rack steering but there's some great pricing on the adrenaline packages.. 😊
@snowtraxАй бұрын
The new naming is confusing. We'll work harder to clarify that for you.
@PistolTАй бұрын
@snowtrax maybe this helps, is the "rack" steering system so valuable that moving to the blizzard, x, xrs necessary? Does it make that much difference? I need an AJ opinion. (Naming isn't that hard to figure out.)

@@snowtrax Skidoo online lists the mxz adrenaline at $15799 its really $16934 with transportation and prep that is the "base model" with zero options, you then have to pay tax and get financing. unless you have 20k lying around. Lets do some math 16934.00 + 15 percent tax = $2540.10 before financing. I can buy 10 decent used sleds for that that are faster and have better shocks.

Prices these days are what’s sinking this sport. I live for sledding But not many of us grass roots people that have been sledding our whole life can afford an entry level/budget lol $17,000 I’ll be forced to continue keeping my “old” 2011 running a few hundred dollars or thousands for engine track etc Bits at a time. Keep it up and this sport will cease to be affordable. Not knocking you guys, just sayin….
