Everyone should watch these videos and thank sponsors regardless if you shoot at Thai range or not. The sport in general needs to support its sponsors and eyes on videos is the best means of driving value to the people that make the sport possible.

That is a mighty nice prize table John...I know it takes a lot to round up those kind of prizes, and when I pull something off a prize table I always try to email or write to thank the vendor.

Thats awesome John, great job! Can you offer any tips on contacting the companies for donations? Im helping out my club trying to find sponsors and donations for the NRA Midrange Fullbore Nationals we are hosting in October.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. As for getting donations it's a combination of building relationships and sheer accuracy through volume. Starting out I sent around 75 letter or emails to just about any company that I thought was relevant in our sport. This may not be the same for everyone. Over time I've fostered those relationships by showing them their banners at my club, shout outs where I can and helping to make their donation valuable. It's not easy by any means and these companies get slammed by who knows how many people looking for a donation so anything that makes you different helps. In my case my club has over 6,000 members in it so that's a lot of eyeballs on a banner plus I send a lot of email through the year that may contain information about those companies. Hope that helps.
