Can't believe i needed this video but thank you sir lol... I kept assuming that L-shaped attachment bracket would go the other or long way to catch the shavings at the bottom so you could pull it out to clean them but looks like I'll need to vacuum them out instead. I appreciate the help

Nice if you only need one Powder 😂😂😂 i need some more different ok i mainly use Reload Swiss Powders RS60 for most Standard Hunting Calibers (.243 .270 7x57 7x64 Win 30.06) RS52 for my 8x57IS Vihtavouri N130 for my 223 and my only Ballpowder Lovex D073.5 for my 308 😀 😂 yeah i know who needs so many different Calibers but Rifles are Herd Animals they dont want to be alone in the Safe 😜

If I had a bunch of brass & was going to keep using the same size brass, I or most anyone could build one pretty cheap. I have a handmade unit floating in my head right now. Cheap too!

I think BoreTech Eliminator would do the same if I soaked for 15 minutes and did 40 strokes. Plus, my factory barrels shoot best if there’s a tiny bit of fouling left in the barrel.

That vise setup is terribly wobbly. If you have a heavy tripod, get that out (or buy an old stout aluminum Gitzo). Buy a geared photo head or a ballhead. Put an Arca plate on the bottom of the head (if you have a different Arca-based bead already on the tripod) so you can quickly pop in the not-used-much scope leveling head. Attach the leveling base you already have onto the head. Adjustments will be much easier and much more precise with even a ballhead (WITH tension control). And of course a decent geared head will be the most precise (and slowest to adjust).

How mutch would this reduce the groups at 1000 yards when shooting lapua brass on a standard brass not modified to a other caliber.

So, if i use flat top scope rings(picatinny on top), have a picatinny rail on gun: is it not just as accurate to place a level on the picatinny of the gun, on top of the ring snd on the top turret? Edit: i use a Zeis one piece mount with a bubble factory installed into it.

Hey John, what your preference for barrel length? 30'' / 32''?
@FClassJohn2 күн бұрын
I like 30” but I know plenty of people who shoot 31 and 32 as well.
@andrewmack71602 күн бұрын
I didn’t do that but responded to a text and forgot I had a round in the seating die I hadn’t seated yet. When I lifted the die to place the next round to seat in it I nocked the one in it over and spilled the powder in that case all over. Not as big of a mess but had to think because it was a ladder test.

Looks like my setup with my Lee press and the faulty auto drum
@CrashRacknShoot4 күн бұрын
Used to run into that a lot myself. What fixed it for me was pressing the charge side and the screw-lock side towards each other tightly and giving the screw side another half a turn or more. Check repeatedly as you tighten them together that it isn't so tight it gets locked up. But once they are tightened well enough, they dont leak a single thing. I have two auto drums that can hold and charge ramshot enforcer powder no problem, which is absolutely some of the finest powder available. I went from losing many grains per session to damn near water tight after getting serious about tightening it up. At first, you'll feel like you may be doing damage to it, but if you tighten and then test it every quarter or half turn, you'll be just fine.
