Camry 100%. Roomier, a real trunk, and a much more comfortable, cushy ride.

Great review Anthony. I would choose the Camry as well and I have a solution. Toyota needs to make a Camry hatchback! Best of both worlds. I'm not liking the Prius instrument pod so much and I just like having a bigger vehicle. That mileage always blows my mind! I put on the weather channel and it looks like Milton is headed your way and I wish it wasn't. It looks like a lot of people are leaving but that's not for everyone. I hope and pray that you and your family will be fine. Rain already there is no bueno. I wish you could send some rain our way! 110 today and it seems like summer does not want to go away. Hope all is well and please keep me posted. Happy Monday Anthony

Thank you James. That is a great solution, offer a hatchback lol I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. The mpg is crazy, we went out to fill the vehicles Sunday and I thought if only lol. That is hot and I see on the news no sign of cooling down . Hopefully it stays in the low 100s for you guys and no wildfires. So far the storm is on its ways nothing changed but it getting bigger than it weaken as it starts to hit. Winds can be anywhere from 60-120 mph and storm surge 10-15 feet of water. We are on the water but about 50 miles from the ocean. I picked up sand bags today, talked to family, friends and neighbors so we all have a plan. The roads are blocked with traffic so not a good idea to leave so we are thinking to go to a shelter if needed. I will post on the community tab as well with updates. Happy Monday James

This month I went down to my local Toyota Dealer and wanted to buy a new 2025 Camry first they didn't have the vehicle I wanted and they refused to order one for me and second they offered me $16,000.00 for my trade which I walked out on them, so I went to my Local Honda dealer and was offered $19,000.00 for my trade and $2250.00 the selling price of an Accord which I am now driving so tell which car is better.
@HawkeyeRides7 күн бұрын
@@richard.cohen51 the Camry has been updated which when the Accord was buyers had the same problem. It was hard to find and no deals on them. I’m glade you got a deal on a new vehicle but that doesn’t make one better than the other. Congratulations Richard as the Accord is a good vehicle and thanks for the insight.

What I want to know about Toyota's hybrid system: what happens after 10 to 15 years of ownership and the hybrid battery completely "fails" (unable to hold any charge, or substantial amount of charge) will the car still operate in a kind of 'limp' mode??? (or will it not run at all??)
@sspiegelv731814 күн бұрын
Good question
@HawkeyeRides14 күн бұрын
@@robertMSP19 Unfortunately no. The engine control systems are tied into the hybrid systems so if it dies it will not work. If it is going bad the mpg will get a lot worse and the power maybe affected. But it’s not 10-15 years it could be sooner or later also depends on driving. If you buy a hybrid do not let it set they need to be driven often to keep the hybrid battery working correctly. Do not go long periods of time with it packed, this will kill the battery sooner.

Yeah this morning is not looking so good, we added some sand bags with tarps and we are close to a shelter if we have to run quickly. We are all praying for everyone’s safety, I talked with all my neighbors and family in the area which we may go later today to the shelter that is about 3-4 miles away. Thank you Brain for reaching out, we really appreciate that.

I have both. 2025 Camry LE and 2022 Prius. Both have their advantages but the Camry is roomier for 4 people. The Prius gets a little better mpg and is perfect for a single person. Yes the battery will need to be replaced but you save that in gas over the life of the car and some more.
