I chose a 2025 XLE in June 2024 minus the roof hatch. It replaced my 2006 Avalon Limited. What a great new vehicle for this 84 year old man.

I was back and forth between the two when I was car shopping. I love the look of the XSE, but love the comfortable softer ride of the XLE. I ended up with the XSE and recently replaced the 19 inch wheels with 17 inch gloss black wheels. I stuck with the 235 width tires and the ride is so comfortable now, without the floaty feeling of the XLE.

I can't imagine trying to keep that light colored, quilted trim clean. Especially if you have a dog. I was super happy with a 21' SE and that's where I'd end up if I hadn't purchased a Rav4 in 24'.

Great review Anthony. I'd go with the XSE. Can you option the hybrid though with that trim level? Either way it's a Camry so you know it's going to run forever! I did watch some of the livestream and it looks like you had a great turnout and good time. That was nice of Isa to say to cancel the livestream and I appreciate that! Is he getting any more clarity about a potential car choice yet ? Besides a supercar lol! 57 here right now and we did get more rain yesterday and last night which was so great and is helping with the fires. I saw that the grapevine is closed since they got a bunch of snow there and in the mountains. Sounds like the weather warmed up there just when your cold weather gear is probably arriving lol but it's all good since you'll have it for the next time. Thank you James. The XSE is my choice and this year Toyota only has Hybrid vehicles which is great for mpg. It was a fun livestream with questions coming with the updated news. I like mixing the news with the q and a as it brings more topics. Nothing yet, Isa is now thinking Mercedes but he wants a v8 so I told him it's not just power but it's more on everything lol. Hopefully he will make his mind up as he is almost 17 ( in Feb). Sounds like we are giving you guys the cool weather and rain. Here was about 75 for the most part. It started at 47 and when I checked the weather last night it was saying it would be hotter so I wasn't ready for this mornings. I went out in shorts lol that was a big mistake. I hope everything goes go with your chiro today. How has your back been feeling with the weather change? I hope you are still doing good with little to no pain. Finishing up Lexus / Kia and getting ready for Honda tomorrow. Happy Monday James

I would go for XLE because of the slightly smaller wheel and more tire I feel it would be more comfortable and less expensive to replace tires

I have a 2023 Camry Hybrid XLE and I really like it. I do wish the seats had more cushioning but I test drove a 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring and felt the seats were kinda firm. I did find the Accord more FUN TO DRIVE...IT HAS AWESOME TORQUE and is more of an enthusiasts car. I do wish the Camry's of 2023 had the memory seats!! It kind of blows me away but was a deal breaker for me was that Honda didn't even offer a heated steering wheel which I REALLY WANTED!! I don't knoow about this latest Camry generation but on previous ones if you wanted a sunroof or heated steering wheel it was ONLY OFFERED ON THE XLE!! Also the XLE with the Premium Plus Package gives you a KICK ASS JBL SOUND SYSTEM that I'd put up against the best and I'm am avid audiophile!! Also the 2023 XLE has auto leveling headlights which while it doesn't sound like anything special actually is great for improved visibility at night. The headlights actually turn with the steering wheel!! I mean how cool is that??

I swear underground changes color every time i look at it. Sometimes black, sometimes, a dark nardo grey, sometimes a faint dark blue. Its such a weird but cool paint.

Obviously the Japanese engineers don’t understand that those over sized wheels are unfit for the bad roads in North America! A 16 inch wheel fitted 55 series tire is best. Or possibly a 17 inch with a 50 series profile at border line! The worst part is that a lot of the new cars today don’t even have a spare tire! After running over a pot hole, you’re stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire along with a bent wheel waiting for a tow truck. Not very practical!!

@@user-kj1iz7ks8q What mode do you drive it in?? How hard do you drive it?? I get up to 51 sometimes more but that is just on a given trip from start to finish not the entire tank per se'. Also if you run the heat or ac it will bring down your mileage right quick!!
