Although nobody buys a Land Cruiser for speed, this LC Prado's 0-60 and 1/4 mile numbers are identical to the 5th Gen 4Runner TRD Pro despite the significant difference in horsepower, torque, and number of gears (partially due to this Prado weighing 800 lbs more). If you think you can leave a 5th Gen 4Runner in the dust with this Prado, think again. That said, the extra torque and drivetrain sophistication probably make this Prado slightly better in passing maneuvers and in some off-road situations.

Keep in mind, it’s not a real Land Cruiser, but they are pretty proud of pricing a Prado like a Land Cruiser. Land Cruisers don’t have 4 cylinder engines 🤷‍♂️🤔

I was hoping they would bring the 70 series style to the US. Torque and HP don't matter if you make these complex thereby expensive to repair. Edit: Osaka Motor show 2015 has a perfect example of what this should've been.

I just got a 2023 4Runner Limited with 200 miles on it and the factory warranty. I must say, the older/newer 4Runner Limited models feel better designed, larger, and of higher quality compared to the new Land Cruiser

There is no way I would pay 70K for this junk, these vehicles need to drop 40K no vehicle should be more then 30K at most, not sure if you get some type of kickbacks from these dealerships for advertising these vehicles? but majority people won't be buying these over priced junky looking vehicles anymore for many reasons not only the prices are crazyly over priced by the thousands does people do the math of what it costs to insure any of them if they dont they are in for a very bad shock attack & lets not forget the registration every year on these junk cans on wheels to buy that vehicle you show would cost $800 year in California there is nothing great about any these vehicles today everything is costly & will have significant strain on a person's wallet, NO THANKS!!!

i would understand why toyota put a 4 cylinder in the LC if it meant better MPG. but it doesn’t get great mpg at all. real world results around 18-19 with very conservative driving and stock wheels. the 4 cylinder is purely for california communist emission regulations….very sad
