Just picked up our 2024 Cross Sport Highline. Got it in all black. Tinted all the windows with black rims. Might even black out some of the chrome bits. Truly not missing the extra tech like HUD, massage seating, folding mirrors. Drives great. If you’re worried about the 2.0 L engine-relax. It’s not meant to be a speed demon anyway. It has plenty of torque to haul itself. I love power, it has more than enough and anyone complaining shouldn’t be driving an Atlas/Cross Sport anyway.

I have had my Atlas 5 years. One unscheduled service visit for a door lock sensor that was replaced under the 6/72 warranty. I bought new VW for my kids and zero issues. I think I’ll keep my V6, though. I like the new interior but I like my buttons on the one I have.

We have a 2021 Atlas CS VR6 and that’s a great car. Engine sounds awesome and the tech inside is easy to use and always works. This thing with it’s 2.0t and new infotainment with zero physical buttons/knobs leaves much to be desired. On the owners forums lots of people are reporting tech glitches with the screen, which essentially renders the car useless since 99% of controls are adjusted through the screen. Also I think the new exterior looks worse. We wont be replacing ours with a new one when the time comes unfortunately.

We had a 21 R-Line. Tech hardly ever worked. SOS error and GPS malfunction (replacing the module many times - a known issue). VR6 was a gas guzzler. Decided to lease a 24 SE w/ tech, we miss the sound of the VR6 but the vehicles handles better, is more responsive, great MPG, much higher quality (no more creaking hard plastics) , tech WORKS now (including wireless CarPlay). Best decision we ever made - love the car.

I’m on my 3rd VW Atlas. I have the 2024 SEL Peak Edition and I love everything about it except one thing. The control that determines if air circulates from the outside or inside is not a button so you can’t use it unless the climate is on. Other than that, I love the Atlas. I get so many compliments on the Peak Edition features. The new lights on the exterior also makes the vehicle stand out.

I agree on the piano black trim that many new vehicles use too much of it & it really needs to go. I have a decent amount of it in my current car (2016 Lexus GS350 F-Sport) looks nice with the rest of the different materials, but constantly dust it off every day.

Yk… despite it being a lot of gloss black materials I don’t think it’s as bad as what Audi does. It looks tasteful new though. At night, these look really cool with all the lights on the outside and interior ambient lighting. It’s definitely a premium vehicle for sure. I will say though, power figures seem underpowered than really all of the competition. Even its 4 cylinder competitors. Wish they kept the V6 around. It doesn’t sound bad either, it doesn’t sound a typical 4 cylinder. BUT the space in this makes up for that, we’ve sat in one of these, it doesn’t disappoint in comfort and space at all. We have 2024 , had it for 10 months now. 6k miles so far. Overall good car but . Recently the entire screen went out and pixelized. Other thing when the weather got to freezing car started calling road assistance by itself. Remote start works whenever it wants. Of course I addressed it with the dealer but there is seems to be no fix , I am being told it’s a diftware update issue. And of course the lack of lit on volume and climate controls is just nuts… I don’t who designed it

Hi did Vw address the NO lights for the heat and volume control at night time ? That’s right at night time there is no lights for that control Also the rattling noise coming from the second row bench seat. I have this model but it’s a 2024. I have rattling noise coming from the bench seats which has gone back to the dealer 3x and hasn’t been fixed yet and now there is noise coming from dashboard. I have to use a cushion on long drives. As I don’t find the seats comfortable. it’s great on smooth roads but very rough on bumpy roads.

We've a one month old '24, traded in a '19. Liked the '19 better. Compass display on '19 always showed road name you were ON, and the '24 does not. Very useful when just driving by sight and no nav. VW screwed things up by eliminating this. Also there is no way to personalize keyfobs to memory seat/mirror settings. Another error on VW's part.
