If this is the new North American Tiguan, Volkswagen appears to be moving the Tiguan more upmarket to compete with the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot, allowing the Taos to compete with the RAV4 and CRV. This is a gorgeous SUV and will be a huge success for Volkswagen

@@SudSale31 100% absolutely. The New 2025 Q5 is stunning. I am convincing my mother to get ride of her XT5 and get the new Q5. I have a 21 Q7 and LOVE the thing. Audi does an incredible job with their interiors. VW is stepping up their game big time. The Atlas is beautiful inside now.

@@watcherinyou I agree its a matter of taste but I had an X3 out in Vegas a few weeks ago. It was ok. That is it. Leather, wood, all the safety equipment. It was fine to drive and it looked ok but it was not anything special at all. The Mazda CX-50 looks and feels more premium inside than the BMW. Obvsiouly if you step to an X7 that is completely different. I drive a Q7 right now and the premium difference is apparent in the higher end luxury segment.

Good looking vehicle! A 7 seater version would be very interesting to me but the absence of physical buttons is a deal breaker. I did test drive a couple of new VWs and it's just sad. I just cannot live with this touch-only crap. The temperature control actually makes my head hurt.

Too bad there's not USB in the cargo for laptop while part or charging the battery on the go. Wheel arches are so big they could take 22" wheels. I really had the Play button stop light design. A true full cover over the center console/cup holders.to keep it looking neat and tidy at all times. On the bright side the seats are nice and the screens in the rear a premium touch. Its also a rear pleasure to see a VW interior that not a sea of black or gray. The bright headliner is a godsend. Too bad cars at t his point don't have power steering columns. I'd definitely tick the option box if it were on the list. Same for an audiophile stereo. Not as premium as a luxury brand, but comfortable and well equipped nonetheless. Are those hazards on the doors lighted or just reflectors?

I have an atlas R line 2024, Tyron is basically new version of atlas ... I do not see it as something very expensive, actually looks pretty basic just nicely made ... if they keep price in the same range as atlas it could be a good selling model. At least here in North America, not sure this car is good fit for Europe now :)
