LL points for RtN are based on the number of events total (448), each win getting a share of those points. 3.3 points per win, rounding.

even though he’s clearly powerful, i think Zen’s current state is very fun and rewarding. i’ll be sad to see him go. it really is a shame he bursted so many points with the bonds cards.

I think so but it will be more frequent. We have 3000 points a year solely in PQ/RTN. That's a lot! So we may see heroes LL "faster"

1500 / 4 = 375 So If Zen is 10% per week, he will actually last for at least 3 weeks of RTN season. Viserai will need 12%, but he would last all 4 weeks at that rate. I think fairly conservative numbers given the diversity of the meta.

Remember there are also other events like calling, BH, pro quest+ that will award points so these heros need a slightly lower % of the share as the pie is bigger than 1500

LL point are permanent, so at one point all Heroes should reach LL status

Every hero is destined to retire someday, although many will come back as the same person with a new ability

That is such a hard question! Once all 4 of them go it’s a free for all. I could see guardian/brute coming back into the mix!

@TCGTALKYT I think that with nuu still in the fold that guardian has a hard time still and Aurora would just outrace brutes. Feel like prism has a great shot of being a top deck

I’m a newer player as well, if I wanna start the game and I really like the new Arakni hero, how long heroes typically last as playable in CC?

If the hero is top of the meta for its entire life span (doesn’t happen often) I’d say avg 18-24 months. Broken heroes (only 2-3 ever) 12 months. But most last years!

I don't know if he is taking into consideration of the newer draconic heroes Cindra's first showing won a calling. They have a place in the meta to steal a good amount of points.

Cindra did get a win 100%! MST heroes + Vis did have 11/24 top 8 spots. I do think HNT heroes will be strong! But once Zen/Vis leave I think Enigmas impact will hurt them, especially Assassin. And Cindra is a VERY targetable deck. So time will tell! Cindra is a great day 1 deck but in my opinion will struggle into a meta expecting her as her lines are extremely linear and you can pack generic hate very easily (TAYG, This Rounds on Me, Erase Face, etc) as well as class hate in Frailty/Disruption.

Most of the MST cards aren't too expensive, the generics MST heroes run (+ assassin cards for Nuu) are the majority of the price and can easily be pivoted into a fresh hero.

The LL points are not by %. 1500 points for the season divided by the number of planned events rounded to the nearest number is the number of points the events give. That way they can still do the weekly check.

You just described a % based points system lol. X amount of events divided by 1500. Hero wins X amount of events. That win total is multiplied by the divided near number. That is a % of the 1500 lol
