Hi Patrick, When we were kids (I'm 64) ADHD wasn't diagnosed much. They just said we were boys. I have several nieces and nephews with quite sever autism. They are unable to function independently. And my daughter in law works with special needs kids, some of which are non verbal. From what I've learned I believe we are all on the spectrum to some degree. Not having been around you I have no idea how you behave "normally", but I haven't seen anything in your videos that would lead me to believe you are autistic to any debilitating level. When you yap nap, I hear humor and wisdom and honesty. It's a big ol' goofy world. This isn't a dress rehearsal, THIS is the MAIN EVENT! And as always: "Protect yourself at all times"

I'm not feeling rational tonight. Warm or hot? I thought it was hot and Chernobyl, but you keep your frozen stuff up there please. If you argue with AI to relieve the blahs, you don't need a professional diagnosis of ASD . If someone wants to know the right angles, they need to simply break rocks and deliberately experiment until they get the flakes they want and then keep doing what worked. Not difficult except every rock is slightly different, even different parts of the same rock or rocks of the same type found next to each other where they were formed, every platform is different, and you have to pay closer attention to flake path as it gets thin (what I learned in six months). My BP1 diagnosis is offended by how some people break rocks (lol!) but I'll feel differently in a month or two. You keep being you, if people think you're weird then so what? If you get bored make a 2" Frio point for funsies.

With respect and awe. I assume, when you talk about angles, you mean the angles between the point and the flaker. Your videos are recorded from what I call a “runny nose perspective” … straight down from on high. I wish that you would occasionally record your wonderful videos from what I call “belly button perspective,” straight in from on low. We could then actually see the angles you use on every strike you make. Seeing is believing and we would better understand what works for you … even if we can’t make it work for us.
