i explained practical How to repair computer ATX switch mode power supply SMPS very easy. this PSU is using SDC2921 IC which is PWM and intelligent power supply monitor. i simulated the outputs of the power supply using a voltage divider network supplied with +5V SB local power supply. after watching this video you can capable to:-

28:40 Why not increase the frequency? Will that not prevent the cores from saturating? If not the frequency, what if I need 24V? Rewind transformer?

Hello Mr Haseeb, as usual, very delightful video ! I tried to do the same and i wanted to know what to do with supervisor sensing pins that have 2 traces coming to them, when i cut them both, i cannot adjust the voltage from the TL431 resistor and i still have some voltage protection... should i cut ALL the traces going to the pins or just one ? for the adjustable voltage do we put the potentiometer at the PWM IC or supervisor IC ? thank you & Salam Aleikum

Haseeb Electronics the PWM IC is the 4 pin UC3843B and the supervisor IC is the TSM111CN. Pin for 3.3v sense is stable and do not change so i left it as is. I cut all the tracks going to Pin 2 & 3 maybe there is another pin to disable...thank you & salam aleikum

Salam M Haseeb, i want to increase the output of an ATX psu, in the secondary it has 3 op amp (AX358), can they play the role of over voltage protection circuit ? as i cannot go higher than 14v and i do not see any supervisor chip. Thank you & salam aleikum.

AT2005 Pwm controller don't have current mode error amplifier. if we want to control current, in that condition we need and additional current regulator circuit in output

@@HaseebElectronicsi was messing around with PSU with chip 2003, and burned the chip, then i managed to modified it using CD4047 simple SQUARE PWM injected to the pin 7 and pin 8, everything went well, adjustable voltage was succeed, but the bad side, no current power, meaning if i set to 5 volt and add load, the voltage dropped to zero what did i missed? the schematic is here danyk.cz/s_atx04a.png if you have time, please help me solve this
