This arrangement is made for my KZbin 20K subs and Bilibili 100K subs(though not reached yet) and I would like to present it to show my respect for my idol, my friend, Animenz. Hope you like it!
The original song by ChouCho is very interesting, and caught my ear first time I listen to the Ending Song of Majo No Tabitabi. Its rhythem and harmonics are very special. The time signature switched between 5/8 and 6/8 to push the flow of music forward, and the harmonics are of a very special taste, which made the atmosphere of the whole song a little bit sorrow, but still full of a endogenous energy. It is just like a majo travelling between countries and witness all the things - joy, anger, grief and happiness.
I referenced to Beethoven's Sonata “Waldstein” to create a feeling of going forward, and used a lot of arpeggios to maitain the music phrase. It has been a long time since I made such a full-size arrangement, but this time I'm quite satisfied because I tried my best to show all the stuff I have learned and all the arranging techniques I like to use. It just brought me back to the past time -in the year 2016 when I first began to do my own anime piano arrangements. Though there are not much special techniques this time, but I just wanted to create such "a taste of memory".
There is a small bonus that I used a very Animenz-style arranging technique in the last chorus, just to show my respect. If there were no Animenz, I would never go such a long way in anime piano world.
Our journey of anime piano goes on.
At last, thank you all for still subscribing my channel. I'm really happy to be here, and to share my music.Thank you for your watching! See you next time.
