We need to remember both Engels and Bernardo are young players learning a new position in a new country. Both Engels and Bernardo were deep lying almost defensive midfielders before they arrived here. Now they are being asked to go out and dominate matches on the front foot. We need patience with both and need to be supporters rather than detractors. Give them time they will both come good.

Engels is young and can be inconsistent. Paulo has not put a foot wrong. Putting him in isn't writing off engels, it's taking him out of the firing line. We should play form players. That's the reason we aim for two in each position.

Concerning Engels or Bernardo it’s simple , Bernardo has had ah season under his belt , many fans were lukewarm at best but as the season progressed the pragmatism in signing Bernardo was clear , this season fans are raving about him and rightly so , Engels needs the same time , for me he’s clearly contributed massively even at this early point , ah point out his performance in the Atalanta game for one

If Valle was our player i feel like he would be frist choice ahead of Taylor. But now that Taylor seems like he may not stay, i dont see any value in keeping him as first choice.

The argument that Forrest is blocking the path of younger players is bullshit , this time last year fans were adamant that the team and the squad required experience, that was true then and is no less true this season , that experience won’t always be provided by Forrest but it has to come from somewhere, with so many highly talented younger players in our team / squad it is vital that someone like Forrest is valued by the club and fans

Im not worried about Engles. Kilmarnock game every player was having issues due to pitch and Kilmarnock trying to rough up our players. Tyncaslte is no different. I cant be the only one who noticed how bad the pitch was or should i say the length the grass was. The ball was moving slow and allowing time for the hearts players to read passes and close our players down. Cross this with them trying to rough up our players and barge us off the ball physically it was always gunna be a tough game. Engles just needsnto get a little stronger because his vission of the game and ball ability is excellent. You'll see a different player tomorrow night on a proper size pitch on a quality surface.

I think it’s time to say thanks very much and goodbye to Taylor, think BR wants him to stay which is why he’s being played at present over Valle who I think is a better option! I can’t think of a luckier player other than Ralston, at Celtic than Forest, after getting another year.. mind blowing! Bernardo very unlucky not to be starting at least some games but with plenty of games coming no doubt these fringe players will get plenty of game time. I fancy a nail biter v Brugges a 1-1 with 15 minutes to go and a late winner for the hoops! 2-1 Celtic.. Congrats to Donald Trump by the way !✊

I think Rodgers wants him to stay as a squad player. But I don’t think Taylor wants to go from 1st pick in most games to a back up role. So I think it’ll probably be a mutual parting of the ways at the end of the season.

Yeah. 27 is that age where it's probably last big contract time and he's going to want to play. Plus, 5 years is a long time at any one club these days and both parties might just fancy a new challenge/fresh option.
