hii sorry if this is really odd question, but i listened to the book and the end involves an ankle/leg injury, it was really hard for to get through the book bc i have really bad medical trauma and hearing about that made me go into a panic attack, it's even difficult finishing this sentence bc of that. But my question is... does the movie involve that...? I really wanna watch it but I've been putting it off bc of that scene in the book, thank you

This is definitely the type of movie that should be on the big screen, plus I really don't care for Hulu.

Never read the book but I watched Stephanie Soo talk about it in one of her Baking a Mystery videos and it sounded soooo good! Can't wait to watch it! Also, love that there is an Asian female lead since I'm also half asian lol.

The book's sooo good and actually feels like you're watching a movie. You know it's good when all the comments are people who know the ending and STILL wanna watch the movie.

Wow!! I mean it takes quite a bit for me to like a movie, especially when a lot of them these days are terrible. However, this movie was truly remarkable. I would recommend this 100% as it was fantastic!! 🙌😊 Truly a remarkable masterpiece.

i read the book, read the synopsis for the movie and then i watched the trailer. the things they changed to write the movie were, in my opinion, very integral to the story. also by changing darby and jay's characters and the ending was a total disservice to their written characters. even changing sandi's role took away from the power of the book. it is an excellent story without the changes and much more powerful in the long run. hate when hollywood gets a hold of good books. 🤦♀

Now that was a good a movie! Great suspense, easy story, good acting, and lots of twists. No pregnant women , no silly possesed kids, no big budget bullshit. It will keep you with your eyes wide open.
