This is the second time the character of Roberto DeCosta/Sunspot ethnic background of a dark skinned Brazilian is changed to white (Xmen:Days of future past)secondly Sunspot powers does not make him a human torch.He absorbs sunlight which gives him super strength, the longer he is out of sunlight his power diminishes, no flame or heat is involved. His manifestation of a fully charged Sunspot gives a black aura about his body that looks like bubbles not fire,as he matures he learns to fly and project energy that doesn't burn.
