It was hard for him to talk all of them into it. What’s fascinating is that after talking to hundreds people who all told him it’s a bad idea, he didn’t give up. I am especially glad to imagine all those IT guys who didn’t join project on the early stages biting their elbows (that’s russian expression) right now 😂

1:07:00 − Spectacular confirmation how horrible people in Paris are, and how low (non-existent) is the morale there in terms of being law abiding person. I wonder what % of the people there think it’s ok to vandalize

Did they compensate the South African guy? I feel so bad for him. He helped this foreign company get hugely successful, whereas he was probably let go in a matter of months. It’s crazy. He should’ve negotiated at least some shares in the company.

A truly fantastic video, the founder is talking about real stuff and real information. The interviewer is intelligent, capable and very good. However hearing him swear so much I find offputting and makes him sound untrustworthy. This is because it doesn't fit his endearing and erudite personality, so it takes away from his credibility.

I am sorry, but what is so awesome about this. He copies Uber, and he wants Applaus. Uber did all the hard work of discovering product market fit, and then someone comes in and codes the same exact replica of the business in his country, and he wants applaus. That is why investors perhaps didn't give him the chance of day. Copy cats like this are why Europe always falls behind. Why don't you develop something new and see if you can move that fast. I don't listen to guys like this who copies what others have worked hard to develop and wants to raise money to compete with the ones who actually developed the product. Don't reward clones. The sad thing is their goverments made it hard for Uber to grow in that region, giving them free ride to scale in that region. I just can't stand copycats.
