In the actual year of 20xx, neither player would do anything. All projectiles are powershielded, making them useless. All other attack attempts (except grab) are powershielded, then appropriately punished. Grab attempts are predicted, dodged, then punished. So no one would do anything, making the game pointless. This is what would REALLY happen at perfect TAS levels.

The craziest thing about these TAS videos is that it is TECHNICALLY possible to do these movements. This is the skill ceiling of Melee. You watch a TAS of SF3S and yeah it's cool that they can parry every hit, and react perfectly to confirm, but it just isn't as insane to watch as Melee TAS.

Can someone explain what happens in 2:20? The red fox jumps grab the bomb throws it to the neutral fox the neutral fox returns it with a shine, red fox counters with a power shield, neutral fox is in shine state (by reflecting the bomb) so about to break out of shine, eventually he breaks out (im just talking about the animation when you left the shine after using it, no cancel) in that exact moment the bomb explodes RIGHT ON HIM and it does NOTHING. I didnt see the shinning White color on the fox so how in the world he didnt die? Halp
