Thanks for another excellent nostalgic upload. Was at that match with my brother happily ensconsed in the West Stand. As a Chelsea supporter I will add that John Wark was and remains a highly underrated player.

literally the worst (non) offside decision ever. i'm guessing this was the day ipswich realised it wasn't a good idea having a 5 foot tall keeper and replaced him with someone who was 5 foot 5.

Gary Watton but the football was still beautiful and a joy to watch. unlike the present plastic football with dives and cheats.

Dreadful pitch - yep. Come late September the vast majority of them a mud pile.. Dreadful goalkeeping - yep again. But to imply Peter Bonett was a dreadful goalkeeper - no!
