👂Some of the finest sounding Ukuleles I've ever heard 🙌

I started with the Uke only since last Xmas. I was given one as a present and instantly caught the Ukulele-virus. It is both frustrating to see Corey and Kalei play (as I can only imagine the intense training that awaits me) and yet so highly inspiring to see you guys perform. What you do and how you do it, is beautiful. Listening to you, I get the feeling of a private concert. Here is a new regular listener/follower.

Play for yourself and your mental health. Play every day. Tape a new song to the back of the door of the bathroom and practice while you are doing other things. Then wash your hands before you touch the uke.

It not an expensive uke that I need, it's those skills these 2 have that are priceless.

You thank us, but thank you guys for allowing me to hold a beautiful Pono ukulele that I love so dearly as I watch this podcast. Wouldn't have been able to enjoy the instrument as much as I do without everything you guys do. Keep it up!

Unbelievable sound from those featured Kanile'a Ukuleles. Absolutely sick sound!! The sustain is just amazing!! Great job on the demonstrations!!
@kanakasurfer54073 жыл бұрын
Right there ladies and gents, is why I only buy and play Kanile'a. Not only do they have IMHO the best craftsmanship and attention to detail in construction, but the music you play in terms of sustain and intonation can only be rivaled by one or two luthiers here in Hawaii with customs costing far more. Corey and Kalei as always your fingers and strings make ukuleles sing...Aloha!

Just want to say thank you for all those awesome videos. I am as much a music (well recorded) freak than an instrument freak and your videos are the best. Being in Quebec, Canada, I have never ordered from you guys (sorry) as I try to support the local shops and local builders but If I ever go to Hawaï, I will stop by to say hello and to add a nice uke to the collection.

Hello Andrew, Corey and Kalei, .... again another great Podcast with really exceptional Ukes in tone and look.✨ Love the short films with Joe Souza - and how he describe the Idea of these new Kanileas! Could you show us the AnueNue Bass in an other podcast more detailed? Looks and - I think - sounds awesome, but the example is so short. Would like to hear more of it soundwise and I am interessted in the Specs of it 🌺 Be blessed and Kind regards from Germany, Bettina
@HawaiiMusicSupplyTUS3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I'll have to get a real bass player in here to shoot it. Same specs as the guitar we showed here and it does sound good. Mahalo Bettina!

You guy's always impress, such beautiful tunes and played so so well. Would you consider reviewing a flight Phantom against higher end Ukuleles and express honest comparisons in the near future?

Why kanilea use nylgut strings on thier instruments, nylgut strings are usually used on much cheaper ukuleles..
@jwukulele3 жыл бұрын
Nylon has its own appeal. Also many people who are in the market at this price point of a uke have their own string preferences, mix & match sets, wound G & or C... so not putting on more expensive strings is less of a waste. #UkeLogic #PhDStrings #Thomastik G/C....

At the 23 minute mark, what was the song used for the duet. Quyanaa
@HawaiiMusicSupplyTUS3 жыл бұрын
Kind of mash up of a few songs. I'll have to ask Corey, I think he was just wandering and Kalei was figuring it out along the way.
