Damn this video is good! I was at a flea market and found a whole peavey PA system dirtier then this and thought it. Then i readied the music and was down for some therapeutic cleaning and that telex didn't want to get clean... the video helped and while the video is on a very niche hobby and problem your channel and video quality is top notch, very underrated. You've got a new sub anyway and i hope your channel get's the expansion it deserves. Rock on

Thanks for the positive feedback. Yeah, that Peavey tolex is the worst brand tolex for cleaning. Ciao, bro!

Peavey gear has always been rock solid . The Bandit amp is legendary . Just listen to that killer tone ! The 80's - 90's USA Peavey gear / amps / cabs etc is now going up in value real fast . For good reason .

I have a metal front version 412MS and it makes a horrible noise when I turn on the amp. I understand that it is the front entry way instead of the back, but I'm not sure what I'm doing...hoping it's just some wiring is loose. 🙏🙏🙏🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻

He'll, I've owned some Laney, Marshall, Carvin and VHT cabinets. Peavey made some great cabinets and speakers .... don't let those gear snobs deture your Peavey gear. Right now, I'm using a Laney with Fane and Celession 30's with Peavey Sheffield speakes and I love the way those speakers all sound together ❤

Where is the amp to head conversion?! I saw that and my pulse went up while my breathing intensified! I have a Peavey Stereo Chorus 212 with master volume (hard to find) that I want to do this to and you might be crazy enough to hold my hand and guide me through it!

Yes was going to ask the same question! That Bandit head looks awesome! Where's the vid??!

There were many Bandit editions: his was a blue line...I have a silver line. 😁😏 I didn't realize how horrible the Sheffield speakers sounded until I turned it on today...making it a head would be SICK! 🙌🙌

Loved the Kerry King meme after the mauled Seasons riff. Great humor buried in the info.

Lol I have the same cab and had the same surprise when trying to clean it.

These cabs originally came with Celestion G12K85s. They’re great speakers!

I bought a Marshall 1960B in worse shape than this. Scrubbing Bubbles and a bristle brush cleaned it up nicely, followed by an application of Music Nomad amp and case cleaner/conditioner.

Hate using those crimp clips in speakers. I always worry they will drop off over time with the vibrations. I ALWAYS solder direct to the jacks.

Were the cab plywood or mdf?
@Killer-Machine42Ай бұрын
This one is plywood but newer models are mostly plywood with a non-removable MDF back and speakers are front loaded

Is this old cabinetban 8 ohm cabinet paralleling to another cab makes it 4 ohm ?? My amp doesn't support 16 ohm so I would need two cabs if they are 16 ohm cabinets . I like this cab as it opens from behind and the stereo versions don't
