This exercise really works! I’m 6 weeks postpartum and started this about 8 days ago. I had a two and a half finger separation that is now a one finger gap. Don’t know how it worked so fast, but it did. I’m going to finish the 21 days because I don’t know if stopping too soon can make it come back, but I just had to get on here to encourage others to try it.

Today I completed the 21 day DR challenge!! 😊😊 As I mentioned n som f my previous comments I had 3 finger gap DR. When watch this vdo 2 months bck my tummy size was 105 cm n I was really scared bot the gap n was hopless😭. I started the challenge 2 months before, bt unfortunately I stopped aftr 2 weeks. But again I started the challenge n got completed today. Reduced 3.5 "😍 n now it became 96cm. I don't think the gap got closed completely, but I got a big diff👍👍. I can't thank you enough! I had twins 4 years ago and have had lower back pain that had increased over the years. I tried these exercises on Sunday and got immediate relief. I missed yesterday, but still had no pain all day. I am back doing these exercises today and will continue until I see my belly tighten. God bless you!

Dude, I've seen a million different exercises by so many different people for diastasis recti. This is the most digestible/doable form I've seen it laid out! Thanks for the print off...I've already done the first workout and man what a burn! Who knew? Everyone else I've followed for these exercises have not been able to get me to easily engage the right muscles and it never felt like this kind of burn. I love the simpleness of thinking of tilting my hips to loose that back gap and pulling my bellybutton to my spine. SO HELPFULL. I am so grateful I finally found something free and simple and effective.

I am so grateful you posted this especially because DR is not very much talked about ( I mean doctors don’t even check you for it.) knowing you have DR and not knowing what to do about it because of the lack of content on DR out there is very frustrating and anxiety driven. So excited for this challenge! I have a huge ab gap after having twins that were each over 9lbs, and then having two singleton pregnancies since then where they were each over 10lbs. This is the first video I saw that talked about how the muscle wraps all the way around to your back - here I’ve done exercises before to work my transverse abdominus muscles and I thought I was doing wrong since I could feel it in my back too. Makes sense that you’ll feel it in your back as well since that muscle wraps all the way around.

Wow congratulations on your beautiful children, and I'm totally Amazed 😲 when I was reading about the size of your children, I have had 7 children between 9llb to 10.5llb babies and it tough carrying them around to 40 plus weeks, so I cant imagine carrying two babies 9llb and then 2 more 10llb babies,you should be so proud of yourself and what your body has done, wishing you all the best on your recovery ❤️

I have completed 21 days challenge and I can definitely feel and see the difference.. It is working for sure... I am gonna continue this for some more days until it gets completely healed... Now I have confidence that this condition is also curable.. For not so new mom's out there, I am mom of 7 year old and a 1.2 year old kid and this shows result for me... So go ahead!!

I just did these 4 exercises for the first time today. Each exercise I did 10 times and side planks I did 3 times on each side. Wow, after completing I can actually feel my core muscles again! I’ve just awoken them! I’m doing this for the 21 day challenge. The 21st day will be on Christmas Day. I’ve had 3 kids, all via c-section and I never did anything to heal my abdomen. Ummm my youngest is 9 and eldest is 18! Self neglect I know!!! I’m also walking 30 minutes a day and doing 2 shakes meal replacements a day and a healthy dinner at night. Just 21 days and I can’t wait to see the difference in my tummy! 🙌🏽

I am 14 years out with three c-sections and a hysterectomy. I just found out about DR. I had no idea it existed and realized that has been what was wrong with me. I’ve been to doctor after doctor to ask why my stomach did what it did, diet after diet and no help. I started doing my own research and have about a four finger gap and excited to see if I can fix this in my 40’s. I wish my OB doc would have told me about this and it could have been corrected years ago. Starting this challenge tomorrow along with a new diet and exercise plan.

Finished this challenge tonight :) Starting gaps: 2cm (above BB) 3cm (belly button) 1cm (below BB) Tonight's gaps: 1.25cm (above) 2cm (belly button) almost zero gap (below BB) I definitely feel stronger and am impressed with my 50second side planks! @@Mamtamsc yes, but it takes 6 -9 months and still is there, mine was so bad it might take 2 years. Hang in there. And try not to do exercises that make it worse. Look it up and see what exercises are not recommended. Good luck.

Today on 8/1/19 marks 21 days! Can’t believe the results, omg it’s amazing. I started with 3 fingers gap underneath belly button and 2 fingers above and below belly button. Oh my god, these exercises are super good. I was having 4 fingers gap but, just after 15 days, I am feeling it’s way better. It is around 2 fingers now. But I try to keep my belly button in the day time too, while doing house chores.

I had my baby 7 yrs ago and ever since I had DR condition. 2 yrs ago I started hard core exercise at the martial art class without realizing I was doing harm to the existing condition. Towards the end of January 2021, I came across this video. I started the challenge from 1st Feb 2021 with 4 fingers gap (did not consider the diet part) and by mid march my DR gap reduced to 2.5. But It wouldn't go lower than that even after exercisingevery single day.... I was happy that it reduced, but wasn't content. I wanted it to close fully or by at least 1 finger gap. I consulted a dietitian/ nutritionist and she told me to continue with the exercise and follow clean and healthy eating. So, within 3 wks my gap was reduced to 1 finger. I never write comments ...but I had to write this. I wanted to thank you Dr Jared. Without your challenge and ofcourse the diet this looked next to impossible. You guys made it possible for me and I am ever grateful to you and your team. I still have a little bit of the baby pooch and I plan to fix it fully by doing these exercises and eating right. Getting greedy 😋

I started this 21 day challenge. I am on day 10. When I started I could fit 2 fingers in between my muscles...now I can only fit one!!! I am so happy that this is working. I am blown away by these exercises and how easy they are but very effective. Can't wait until I finish to see what my results are. Thank you so much for sharing this information!!!!!

I did this during early morning everyday for two months. We can easily find the difference the way it's getting reduced . I can easily fit in my jean I bought it before pregnancy. We have to be consistent, believe in ourself and follow clean diet.

I've never heard of diastasis before. Had a baby 34 years ago. Tried everything to get rid of floppy belly. Aerobics Pilates keto diets etc. Nothing has worked Almost 70 now and I have now been diagnosed with prolapse. Will try this as last resort!

Thank you so much for the information! I had two big babies 10 lbs 14oz. And 9 lbs. 12oz. They’re 13 and 9 now!!! Over the past 17 months I’ve lost 60 lbs focusing on healthy eating and being more active (walking at least 30 minutes daily). For as long as I’ve been a mother I thought my stomach was toast! I figured when I got to my goal weight I’d look into a tummy tuck… might still need one but with building these muscles I’ll save myself a lot of pain, time and money with surgery. This gives me so much hope!!! And it’s a great stepping stone into Exercising! I’m going to print of this challenge and come back in 21 days with my results…🤩 My current measurements are; Two fingers above navel 35’, at Navel 38’, Fupa (lower stomach 39’ and Hips 41 1/2’ See you August 31st, wish me luck!!

This helped me fully close my 3 finger gap! I stayed consistent for 5 weeks the most important step is to get the stomach vacuums right!

Any tips for slipped rib syndrome?? Currently doing your 21 day diastasis recti challenge but I have a rib that keeps slipping out of place for years after I broke it years ago. I feel like it’s gone and then I do something and it slips out and hurts for months until it slightly resolves but never goes away! I would love a video on this!

Thank you for these excercisez. I saw difference after maybe the first week, and now after a month my diastasis is completely gone. Can you tell me, is there a time when I can AGAIN add excercisez for rectus abdominus to my routine, without risking of my diastasis returning again.

Hello, The calendar doesn't specify sets and reps. How do I know if I'm doing the correct amount. Sat, 7/24 would be day 4, but it doesn't feel like I'm doing very much. For the Pelvic Vacuum, I do 10 reps and vacuum firmly for 30 secs w/ ea. rep. For Marching, I vacuum firmly and do 3 sets of 10, releasing the hold after ea. set. For Bridging, I complete 3 sets, vacuum then bridge and hold firmly for 10 secs w/ea. set. Am I doing this correctly? Thanks in advance!!

Mine are 21! 21 years of doing crunches and other wrong exercises for this condition! I never could figure out why no matter how much I exercise, eat healthy, and keep a thin waste line, my lower belly pooched and just didn’t look right. I am starting this challenge today. I will post after the 21 days if it has made a difference. I am praying that it does because surgery is not something I want to do.

I am 68 years old. In my 30’s I had 5 fertility surgeries, then at 36 I had a son. He was 12 weeks premature, so my belly didn’t get super big, he was born by c- section at 28 weeks. I am having a problem with urine leakage. I have done everything I can do, keigals,bio feedback, electronic pants just about ready to sign up for acupuncture, then I found this video, I believe I have this problem, so I’m starting my 21 days tonight👍

I love and appreciate all of the workouts and information you provide for all of us postpartum moms! I have really enjoyed doing this challenge and the other workouts! I have competed this challenge twice now and I have a little less than one finger wide measurement and feel pretty strong, not squishy, along the ligament. I do feel squishy (I can go down maybe half an inch) right at my belly button and a little above it. I am also one finger wide right above my belly button and one finger with a tiny bit of wiggle room right at my belly button. Is this alright and is my DR gone/fixed or do I still have some because it's a little wider and more lose at the belly button? I still have a little pooch but I've been doing your LISS workouts and I believe it's getting better little by little! Thanks for all you do!

Or is it best to solely focus on the Transverse Abs only? And If so, for how long? Thank you!

Hi, Jamie! If you are looking to lose body fat you will want to make sure to also do some low impact steady state cardio. You can also do lower body and upper body strength training.

Ok, just finished today's challenge. The side plank is the hardest one for me. I didn't realize I was so out of shape with my arms. I do a lot of exercise in the steps machine at the gym, the one that seems like the elliptic machine but where you are basically stepping and I thought it helped strenghten the arms area in a non invasive way, but pffewww this side planking is really something! Luckily, it is not like some of those really really reaaally hard planks so thumbs up!!! I am done for the day. Mañana más, as we say here. Tomorrow more! Have a great day you all!!
