Great show thanks for putting out, although were not all women listening. Just a heads up another couple that usually go under the radar, salt & pepper. If you check some of the smaller grind containers in Woolies/Aldi there are now ‘May contain’ statements reflected. The penny dropped with me when i realised how they ship salt around, that aside i suffered behavioural issues all last year until i cut them out. I also contacted Saxa, one of AU/NZ’ds largest company & they would not complete any testing on their products (as helpful as they were with my enquiry).

Thank you! I appreciate you saying that. Yes, I have plenty of men also listen to the show. I always focus on women as they are who I coach but most of my info is also relevant for men. :) Yes, it's important to read all labels as it's just crazy where gluten hides. There are so many herbs/spices etc also that aren't safe. Glad you were able to figure out what was causing you issues.

I had a sorghum beer and felt as if I drank a reg beer 😮

Ooh yeah that's rough. Sorghum doesn't agree with me either. Gluten Free WeetBix (breakfast cereal) has sorghum in it and I LOVE it but it makes me feel rubbish.

@@thehealthyceliacshow what cereals do you recommend?
@thehealthyceliacshow6 ай бұрын
@@cute7g467 I'm not a huge fan of cereals. Most are loaded with sugar and not many nutrients. My fave would probably be Quinoa Porridge. I have a recipe on my website here if you want to try. www.belindawhelan.com/post/gluten-free-quinoa-porridge

I can no longer eat raw Brazil nuts for some reason. They're naturally gluten free. No may contains. Doesn't matter what brand.

If you're having problems with several different grains it might be a good idea to do a microbiome test first, before cutting out more foods. If you don't have the right bacteria in the gut to digest the grains that could be causing your issue as coeliacs often have gut disbiosis. If it is the bacteria then after reintroducing it to the gut, you may be able to eat those foods again.
