My grandma told me stories of when her and my Grandpa were dating he was stationed on our West coast, she still lived with her parents in Morro Bay, CA and during the war, as soon as the sun started going down they had to turn off all the lights in the house or cover the windows so no light could escape and alert the enemy. My Grandpa was one of the many who had to stealthily search the waters for the enemy every night. I interviewed my Grandmother & Grandfather for history class when I was in school. I didn't get a good grade because the teacher thought either my Grandparents were crazy, or I misunderstood them. No body believes that our West coast was actively being bombed because it's not in the history books. My Grandpa was in the military and the whole family all lived through it together. I will forever believe my family's version of that part of our history because they actually lived it versus what we're taught in school!

i am 50 and have read countless books on WW2, watched movies, documentaries, i have perused every photograph and film footage from WW2 i could get my hands on. i do remember the balloons from D Day. they weren't a part of the initial landings. they were put there once the area had been secured and the rest of the troops were landing. thousands of soldiers all in one place like that, couple decent strafing runs by planes is what you don't want. i remember reading something many years ago about experiments in ship camouflage using paint to break up the visual shape in the latter stages of the war, but because it made sailing in formation hazardous (it made the ship hard to see to allies as well, collisions and confusion all round) so it wasn't put into any kind of widespread practice. i have never heard or read the term "dazzle ship" before this video and i have never seen those ship images. that being said, i'm not a proper military historian so i very well could be wrong. i have conceded to the possibility of other explanations to the ME when i get it........... until i saw the "Moonraker" movie one. nope, nope, NOPE! THAT GIRL HAD BRACES, IT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SCENE! IT MAKES NO SENSE OTHERWISE! it's undeniable, in my mind Moonraker IS the proof. make no mistake, the Mandela Effect is REAL.

The dazzle paint job was originally used during WW1 and then again in WW2. I can remember seeing pictures of it in the 70's. The idea, before radar, was to break up a ship's silhouette so it was hard to determine the course of the ship as well as to identify the ship.

This can somehow be a natural phenomenon. There is a quantum retro causality that projects out reality. Many physicists think that our future alters the past. It’s becoming more and more and more plausible with all these Mandela Effects. When I see all this new stuff about Germany, The Black Tom Explosion and the killing of 5,000 US troops within American waters off the East Coast? It’s alarming to think about what this means about our future. 5,000 of our soldiers die in US waters off the East coast. Our waters? Our territory? We don’t have a special memorial of any sort like we do for Pearl Harbor? We don’t consider these terrorist attacks? You’d think at least one beach on the East Coast would’ve put up a statue or, something. It’s just weird…

Also I found little on B T when I heard of it like 5 years ago.) I heard ONE reference (that I checked, and found true) to the hurricane that stalled off shore from NY, and sat there all day then wandered off. Seems like this was around 2014 - 15. No mention in all the many hours of digging I did in 2010 - 12. No mention of the hotel in front of the SOLOMON building either. JFK's limo was always 6 seats for me. Gov. Connally and his wife were in the limo as well as the Gov was hit by the "Majic bullet). In school I learned Betsy Ross made the first flag and witches were burned, NOT hanged. Capone died in prison of syphilis. The movie, 1941 is the only East coast U-boat reference I know of. The Linburg baby was never found in my reality. I saw the "Tank Guy" on tv as a young feller and the tanks stopped. NAVY ships were battleship grey from all I know, and no ballons on D-day.

***MANDELA EFFECT**** A few years ago around when Prince passed away I came across a video on here talking about the song aptly titled "Let's Go Crazy" from the Purple Rain soundtrack which was released in 1984. I was gifted that cassette tape when it came out and I probably listened to it several million times over and owned it on various types of media which is to say I KNOW THAT ALBUM and every song on it. The song opens with a religious type of setting where a preacher is tending to his flock and an organ is playing in the background and the song starts; "Dearly beloved We are gathered here today To get through this thing called 'life'!" In my universe that's not how the song started! In my universe it goes; "Dearly beloved We are gathered here today To get CELEBRATE this thing called 'life'!" This song started to change on me in real time. I listened to that part of the song 3 times on three different videos with the first 2 times sounding strange and garbled, almost as though the song was slowly changing like a decepticon transformer does in slow motion. The hairs on my neck were standing up and I had a cold chill going down my back as I clicked through different channels listening to all the different videos of the song. I was horrified but bewildered at the same time. What had just happened to me? Why has this happened? The title of the song was how I was feeling and it also felt like I had a supernatural incident and all these songs in the videos they all had one thing in common, it's that they all had the new version of that beginning of the song and no one was celebrating life anymore.... They all just wanted to get thru it......

The punches is still a theory of the cause of his ruptured appendix. I think the reason some believe he died performing a water trick is this is how it's portrayed in the very popular film HOUDINI (1953), starring Tony Curtis. He did die during a show, but not during the water trick, and it was from a ruptured appendix, which may have been caused by blows he'd received in the abdomen a week and a half earler. So, there's a bit of truth in all the stories. I don't think any of this is a Mandela Effect, because there are historic sources for all the claims.
@paulpski9855 Жыл бұрын
I'm sure that a lot of the problem is that people do not know history. As a retired Naval Officer with degrees in History and Political Science many of the items you spoke about are historical facts. Two examples: The Japanese balloons used during WW2 may not be well known but I did a research paper on them in the late 80's/early 90's. Same goes for the German submarines during the opening months of WW2, I've been aware of this since being a kid growing up on Long Island, NY. The US took a while to get on a war routine and city blackouts were not enforced which allowed German subs to spot/sink the "shadows" of merchant ships who were blacked out.

Just another note from me, your research into the Black Tom event reminded my of an incident that happened in my own city of Liverpool, UK. The ship "Malakand" was birthed in a dock by the River Mersey and was filled with 1,000 tons of bombs, high explosive and munitions bound for Europe. On the night of 3rd May 1941 the Luftwaffe blitzed Liverpool and a direct hit caused the Malakand to catch fire. The resulting blaze caused the ship to explode and the ships anchor was flung over a mile away inland. Many deaths were recorded and this, too was never taught or spoken about in schools. I knew about this because my parents were there at the time of the Liverpool blitz, known as the May Blitz, and they told me the history they grew up with and it was their stories that planted the seed in my mind to learn about these things. Today, at my age 72, history is not so much a thing to uncover, but something to teach by experience to my grandchildren and hope that they will be interested enough to do research for themselves into my past. Many thanks for your efforts to keep history alive, because without it we have no roots and without roots mankind will fall.

Regarding the "Black Tom Incident": No, I never heard of it. I am extremely adept and knowledgeable in history, so this is interesting for me to discover. With that said, I do know that most students in the USA are only taught about history on a cursory level. For example, most students I know were only taught (as mentioned in the video) that the USA finally entered WW1 because of the sinking of the Lusitania / violation of the USA's freedom of the sea. Those of us in Honors classes also learned about the Zimmerman Letters, and the fear that Germany would arm Mexico in an attempt to take over the territory Mexico had lost in the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, and possibly also land German troops for an invasion of the USA. But that's it. No "Black Tom Incident". For reference, I grew up before the internet.

I'm starting to think that weird things like this with the past changing slightly has perhaps always happened. We are just now at a point with enough of detailed historical records of stuff from the last 100 years to start to notice it. Before the internet and encyclopedias people would just write it off as not remembering correctly, or that you're just crazy. Now we actually have enough stuff recorded to start to prove it to ourselves. Very interesting, very weird. edit: I'm worried about how far they are going to take this? What else are they going to change? Is it possible to push things too far and change too much? What if this is all an experiment to see how we react to the information available to us literally changing. They are seeing how much they can change without causing chaos, or worse.

This is a very new phenomenon, it started when news reports began to be inaccurate, thus, affecting our collective memory of different events. The only thing that is important is to discard what people remember when material proofs are discovered. Memory is the most inaccurate thing, that's why we should be sceptical of whatever any witnesses claim to remember. It's not that they actively try to deceive others, it's just that they don't always have accurate memories of a particular event.

The bio movie of Al Capone starring Ben Gazzara shows him in FL. at his mansion, waving guns and shouting, syphilis making him paranoid and crazy. How weird. It's scary to hear these stories. P.S. The Hindenburg: I remember the newsman screaming, " the humanity of it all!" over and over. Because EVERYONE DIED.

No, he said, famously "Oh, the humanity! The passengers..." How would he know how many people died? He was standing well away from it.
@RemyJackson Жыл бұрын
@benjalucian1515 Yeah, he actually says "Oh, the humanity" while the Hindenberg is still burning and falling. I imagine at that moment, he couldn't imagine how anyone could survive. However, the reason so many people did survive was because the fire started at the back and burned toward the front where the passengers were. And it didn't fall fast like a plane crash, but slowly drifted down, allowing people to get out before the fire got to the cabin.

A few things i've noted: 1. As an Egyptian Indian, we already know that pyramids were not for tombs. The kings you speak of all came some 1000 to 2000 years after the pyramids were build. Akhenaten's body has been found and dna tests have been done to confirm his identity and his direct link with Tut. Only Nefertiti and Smenkhare remain lost. So that can be chalked off to not much info for foreign countries. *BUT, the pyramid having 8 sides will always haunt me till my death.* 2. As im not american, i am well aware of the bombings in WWII. We've read about it in class. i forgot about the submarine thing though. 3. im just amazed at how many things my dad knows that i don't!! i think i commented back on the original video as well, but i absolutely remembered all passengers dying in Hindenburg blimp, BUT i asked my dad and he said no they survived. He knows this cuz he once had the newspaper with the headlines!! He also knew of Houdini's death! Dude's a huge Houdini fan!! :D 4. i remember clearly that Tesla died young. Guess who i asked about this and guess what he said? :D 5. Lastly, at the animation studio i used to work, we were outsourced the entire German section and the d-day section of COD WWII videogame. i didn't work on d-day section, i only worked on the Germany part. We textured tanks, roads, buildings, pretty much everything. Iirc, my colleagues made greenish grey boats for that level. But i could be totally wrong. Again, i myself didn't work on it so dunno. I believe that time, i.e. "present and past" are 'fluid'. The amazing thing is that it becomes more "fluid" as 'our time' passes. The closer we get to the completion (or end) of the time line that we occupy, the more erratic and fluid it will become. The closer the threads of time are in relation to those around it, the more unstable they become. This is why the "Mandela Effect" was unknown before a certain time in our past. The only hint of its coming was "deja vu", which is occurring less and less. Now, it is getting blurred from what we first learned of those changes. I am 75 years old and remember that things began to "change" for me around the year 1980, when (in MY timeline), one of my favorite comedians, George Carlin, died of a heart attack. Of course in 'THIS' timeline, he died June 22, 2008. In and around that time, old friends that passed on, mysteriously lived to pass on AGAIN! I believe that as we continue to advance toward an end to all this, some things will change with greater frequency. The problem with trying to document them (as you are now learning with your videos), is that the "changes" become fixed into our "documented proof", for that documentation changes with it. Only our brains, that isn't as susceptible to the effect, resists those changes, to some degree. It's as if when "2 + 2" actually becomes "5".. there will be nothing in that past (or history) to dispute it.

@vangildermichael1767 Жыл бұрын
I'll start you down that path. FIRST, you gotta understand just how "HUGE AMOUNT" of energy is in a hurricane. It's more than ALL the power plants on earth (nuclear and coal and gas) could make in a whole year, combine into one instant. Continuously flowing for the life of the hurricane. It's absolutely mind blowing what nature can do without even trying. THEN understand (It might take some digging, epically now). The one that told about this first on (Jessie Ventura), he got disappeared the same week. (Nicola Tesla), yeah, the grand pappy of all electric. Not Elon Musk. He came up with how to "relocate" energy. So, right out of the gate. It IS possible, realize that. And then, use your own, little thinks, and think. Where can I take ALL that energy that a hurricane has. Where can I put it. Remember it's (9/11). I can remember the word they used to desribe the effects, that were clearly seen. That defied all understand. The media called it "dustification". When parts of that building just "vaporized". Now, think, what would an energy transfer of that magnitude "look" like (this part requires a lot of speculation. Well, er, this whole threary does.). ya want a Mandela thing that is a lot more "Mundane", and not so speculative? But almost as crazy? Google up and study "the teardrop monument". Do you remember such a thing every happening? It apparently was a BIG deal. With Putin, Netanyahu, and Bush. Maybe Xi. And here I missed the whole thing. Enjoy the show @@christinanewberry9

We had our own Mandela effect. Our garage bins outside use to be the standard size, but we noticed ours are now small, much smaller than the neighbours, but they had the same broken lids they always had, so how did everyone in the house remember us having the larger bins? We thought maybe someone swapped them, but that doesn’t explain the broken lids (the lids are attached ) we looked on google earth and zoomed into our house, the google images where 6 months old and the bins where small in the google image. So I guess we had our very own little Mandela effect

I did a book report on Houdini's biography in the 4th grade. All my info came from one or two books I got from a local library (this was the early 90s). All my sources and the internet pages I looked up on AOL all said he drowned in his water box trick. When I saw The Prestige I was reminded of that book report. Same goes for a 4th grade history book telling me about Nelson Mandela's death. I'm not a full blown ME believer but I love looking at them because I find the entire thing fascinating whether it's a supernatural thing or just us forgetting stuff collectively. Either way it's a fun topic.

it seems there may have been a lot of misinformation being published in books as fact in the past? And because there was no internet or good way of cross referencing and connecting with people some things just never got caught. I find it very interesting also it sounds like we are about the same age. I also remember learning that he drowned during the water box trick. i feel like this raises awareness of the importance of preserving sets of old encyclopedias and books. if all the books and stuff are gone then the only thing we have to go by is what you find when you search it on the internet. then whoever controls what you see when you search controls whats true in everyone's mind. including historical things etc.

I know nothing about the Black Tom event, but I think, like you said, the most plausible explanation for internet results not showing up years ago is simply that the bots Google uses to scrape the internet, and then index it, had not yet found and indexed those pages, so they couldn't be returned as results. I've noticed this effect on A LOT of things I Google. Things I got no results years ago show a lot now, and it seems the posts were made years ago when I should have found them.
@AtSafeDistance8 ай бұрын
I think the reason you saw almost nothing was because it didn't exist then, only later after he effect did it exist. If two timelines were merged then only 1 result can happen, but our memories are not something a timeline can merge. If that theory were true then there would be people who might remember it from either perspective. The physical evidence would not exist if it were two timelines merged because there could only be one result. Anybody trying to find physical proof things were the other way would not, but the exception of parodies. Parodies and people's memories would not be changed because there would be nothing to merge. We remember what we remember and parodies would simply be made to look foolish. But the whole purpose of a parody is to be as much like the real thing as possible. So when you see Richard Simmons wearing a headband in SNL skits, to me that merely is proof he did in one timeline always wear the headband. Ace Ventura making the remark about the monopoly man missing his eye piece is another great example. Why would they have written that in if it wasn't not only true (in a timeline) but that it was also so prominent that people would get the joke made.
