I feel like I should mention I'm Canadian and I know, you do not get out of punishment if you were not read your Miranda Rights. The only thing that happens if a police officer fails to read a suspect their Miranda Rights is that anything they say while in custody is admissible in court. For example: They could completely confess to whatever crime, but, if they were not read their Miranda Rights, that testimony cannot be used.

@5:10 - That isn't correct, you are still going to be arrested and charged with whatever you did. It is simply that if you did any of things that Miranda warnings would have told you about and that negatively affected your case you might be able to sue. This movie trope was never true. However, our current farce of a supreme court has thrown out the previous supreme court rulling so you no longer have the ability to sue of that so cops can get back to abusing their power to force arrested individuals into self incriminating, true or not, without fearing repercussions.

On the Jonah Hill getting the pretty girl prediction: he got turned down by the pretty girl in the first scene of the movie so that’s like an easy prediction if you know common sense and watch films The 21 Jump Street Camaro Easter Egg: I never checked to see if I was right or wrong but that was literally a guess but the way they focused on the car led me to believe that because I never saw the original show On my prediction of the gym teacher: he had no reaction to them clearly being on drugs like a normal teacher would and that’s why I guessed that

I'm so happy they decided to turn it into a comedy instead of a serious drama like the original. The movie (and 22 Jump Street) is *so* different from the original show, but it works so well, and by doing it this way they really didn't step on the toes of the original.
