Only squads that could boat race us is Texas & Bama & the only reason they’ll boat race us is bc we missing 9 starters. Yea you read that right, 9 out of 22 starters plus a couple backups. Top 5 WR’s all out, 2 starting OL, starting RB, 2 starting corners both out, starting cheetah out, and backup cheetah out. Freeze was trying to burn clock near end with lead like Heupel did in Norman. QB wasn't on the same page. Then ,of course, some Sooner Magic popped up, and it's hard to counter that. Hunter run(s) would have been the better option to kill clock with 11 pt lead. Punt if no 1st down. Make OU take the risks and try to muster a long drive with a short clock. Sometimes, you crash and burn when you don't use the brakes.

As a Sooners fan I thought he called a great game, however, up 21-10 in the 4th quarter, I was SUPER GLAD he chose to try a 51 yard field goal instead of punting and putting a true freshman deep into his own territory, they missed the field goal and with great field position the true freshman connected on 63 yard pass the rest is history
