My marriage turned 21 in 2015. Much like MJ and Lisa Marie, our ceremony lasted about 11 minutes. It was officiated in front of about 50 friends and relatives, by our friend who was a Notary. The term "mullet" was in use in Australia before 1994. Reddit has an example of it used in print in 1991 in an Australian car magazine. The Beastie Boys are known to have an Australian connection. Australian band Noise Addict (featuring a young Ben Lee) released material on the Beastie's label Grand Royal Records in 1994 and their association and friendship may have let to some cross-cultural exchange including the word mullet, thereafter popularized by the Beastie Boys within the USA.

I was not home watching the O.J. Simpson car chase. I was somewhere out west. I know that on June 15, 1994 I was with family in Yellowstone, but I do not know where we were on June 17th.
