BRAVO, GORGEOUS BIRDY!!! LOVE THIS VIDEO. SMART OWNER, TOO. (WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER MY AMAZING CONGO ♡♡♡) That God would give them such brains & heart is beyond comprehension. But know this: HUGE responsibility & expense. These are not give-away creatures. They are wild, undomesticated, & YOU are their entire flock😄 There are very few true bird people who will understand. Classes should be given on parrot ownership BEFORE you buy/adopt!. I say this w/love & respect.

I love this, I have a little pair of lovebirds I found them in a wooden box in a neighbours shed over the Xmas, I could hear them screaming but knew there was no one home, they were away for the Xmas . There was more shit in the box than free space and no sign there was ever food in the box. They were very weak and I’ve had to be careful about refeeding, my daughter is off to vet collage in September all going well..but was doing work experience in different vets, so a vet she was working with gave us chick booster to give them a boost..I guess lol..but there happy to sit on my hand now, a pair is harder than a single bird to tame. Ppl were telling me the only way to tame them was clipping there wings..over my dead body..some ppl don’t like spraying water at birds but it was the only way I could get any control over them..I wanted to be able to let them out but needed to be able to get them back in when i needed to go out..so I would spray them..they only got wet wet wet the first two nights then after that all I have to do is pick up the bottle and say down to you’re cage and they fly down ..I hope to get them into a bit of free flight training only because if they got out right now I hate to think of the outcome where if we have recall training if they do get out we can put that into practice..I think if one got out right now I could use the other to get it back, but I’d rather be safe than sorry..I also have a macaw chick to be he/she’s 13 days old today who will be free flying because it has to be the best life for a parrot.. I started a Facebook group for anyone interested in Freeflight or actively free flying birds in Ireland a couple of days ago so we don’t have many members yet so all are welcome , you don’t have to be Irish or have a parrot as we will be posting pictures videos and tips on bird ownership .. it’s called. Irish flyers (Macaw). I’m not sure why I put macaw in brackets , it should have been parrot but that’s how it looks when you do a search.

wow, what a smart bird! and you are obviously a good trainer. so, why are your bird's wings clipped so horribly short? you can train your bird to do all this...then why do you not allow him/her to fly? you can certainly train to fly to you and to stay put. i was crying while seeing those wings so short--the bird would surely hurt himself if he/she fell. :(

Δηλαδή στην τουαλετα δεν μπορεί να πάει μόνο του? Έχω δει κάτι κοκατου που σκαρφαλωνουν με το ραμφος και τα πόδια.

Nah bruh, make both of your lives easier and invest in some foraging/puzzle toys. I keep like 10 different puzzle toys that I can put treats inside of. I refill them with treats and rotate the toys in and out of his cage so he doesn't get bored with them. It keeps him busy, entertained, and quiet when I can't spend time with him.

Wonderful job! I especially liked the end where he talks. I wish I could share mine. If you want more ideas, you can log onto instagram at: dana.berki to see. But, please research sun flower seeds are actually bad for parrots. Also, peanuts with the shells on them can contain a mold that is deadly to parrots. Please research this and make your own choice. I use almonds crushed to bits and use the bit pieces. thanks for a great video however.
