I am playing EXTREME catch up, easy 4/4 pieces all within the D scale were tripping me up. Just, horrible. I’ve gotten way better though and am on about the same level as the others again, just takes some getting used to.

Or if you're still in school (This happened to me in middle school), there is the one person who always tries to take the next seat up to feel more acomplished. I played french horn in 6th and 7th grade (both years I was first chair) and I remember this one girl would always rush into class and take the first chair position and she was last horn, oml especially when we had a substitute she would take the first parts from me and try to play them even though they were too high for her to reach. She quit in 7th grade :)
