21 Window Bus - Window installation

Hi Guys, seem to be causing some confusion with this video. Due to issues we have had with painters over past year and missing last car season completely and not wanting to miss another season, we are doing a complete assembly so we can drive the bus for this summer. This will give us a time to test fit everything and work out any bugs if required (changed a lot of things over winter). Then in the fall we plan to completely disassemble and send off for sand blasting and paint. Yes, It is a lot of work, but decision I made, based on time of year, losing last season and current situation with Covid-19 etc. So here we are. Thanks for watching.

can you explain how to set up the gear shift stick, i replaced and only get first and second gear

To be honest, I have no rhyme or reason to adjusting the shifter in manual transmission. Just keep listening bolts, move slightly and try again until you find sweet spot.

Just a question but why are you putting the windows in without no finished paintwork ?

Long story, have had a few painters bail on me, one even had bus all last summer, before returning unpainted. Just got Subaru running and wanted to enjoy this summer so have decided to put back together for now. Also giving me a chance to make sure all is in order before final paint. Thanks. Mike.

be a way better job to paint the bus and get the fabric in before yeah put in those windows

I understand the windows will be comming out later but still...... I would never use washing up liquid, becouse that contains salt....... You do not want salt on your paint between the rubbers and the paint.......
