Sure, if he wanted to watch the would champion snatch more than he cleans. It would be humiliating, but that's CrossFit.

@@HikoSeijuroXIII if you have to start some where ,no one just starts on top ,he as lots of potential. That's the point if you ever Olympic lifted,& he wouldn't be dead last ,he is top 5 easy with more training.

@@vadimdon true ,but if you knew Olympic lifting ,he would get the right training & weight class top lifters are in 333 lbs & 343 so he is there, he wouldn't be a heavy weight .

Although youre not wrong, its not that simple, its well known any athlete competing at the most elite events in their sport is sacrificing health for performance, but if you think hes gonna be in trouble when hes older, look up rich froning, hes almost 40 and has been at the top of his game for almost 20 years now, its not as black and white, there is a way to do anything in excess, while doing the least amount of damage as possible.

@@perfor5376 Agreed. 40 was an "around" number. It may be 45-50 for some. When Froning decides to come off the gear, there may be some accelerated decline as well.

HA HA HA at his body weight the world record snatch is 7kg heavier than that and the clean and jerk record is 40kg more. Crossfitters can't lift. This is amateur stuff.

To reiterate on the comment below about how well rounded these guys are in all aspects of fitness… I can guarantee the elite Olympic lifters of the world aren’t producing similar results as this in any other specialised fitness test i.e running, swimming, gymnastics or even barbell ladder events for time on day 5 of a CrossFit event

@@ReeceBalfour crossfitters are EVEN WORSE at those disciplines. A low end club cyclist or runner can destroy CrossFit pros on those disciplines. I'm fifty and I could easily humiliate the best crossfitters in the world on the bike.

Yeah you'd beat them on the bike but what about on the barbell or literally anything else fitness related? They're undoubtedly well rounded and this is coming from a weight lifter. I still can't get behind the pullups though 😂
