Trading can go really well, until it doesn’t. Been trading for a year now and let me tell you it has been a ride in this stock market. I would recommend that all new traders is to avoid holding the bag on a trade. Especially near to earnings calls or big company announcements. Also take your time and trade slow. Small capital, small wins bit by bit. Stick to your trading rules like your life depended on it. Accept a loss when it happens and NEVER revenge trade. Take a day off, revisit your failed trade to determine where you went wrong (if you did). Lastly, keep a 9-5 gig and take care of your personal finances. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Don’t trade with your emergency savings, money to pay debts or bills.

People are confused in the comments. The bulk of her money is not being made from trading. It is from selling courses/memberships. In this case, the company Cash Capital. She even says how much money she made from the business. Hence, the quick amount of money made just in a year (after a viral tiktok and 700 members...PAYING members). This is the case with most guru "traders"

​@@theherbrand She's great and honest. The truth is that these people churn out "students" and make 99% of their money off that, which she admitted. There is no psychology involved due to there being no real risk factor, so it's like papertrading, making it very easy. I've noticed she does lots of small account challenges, which allows her to make 10-20 2k accounts and try again and again until it works with one of them. She can then show you these "results" while in actuality having a 90% failure rate, and sell you subscriptions and make millions, and you'll defend her because you want to believe the lie. Even the subscribers will lie about success because they are ashamed of their losses. I speak to real traders who have 0 social media presence or after having any, they dropped off the face of the earth because they do not want to share their strategy. None of the TRULY successful traders will sell you their strat, that would diminish their edge and literally cut into their livelihood. If anyone is selling you anything, it usually means they are making money off that, not the actual trading.

Most emerging companies fail. I think it is like 90% fail. Invest mostly in blue chips that have been proven from the emerging companies. It doesn't mean blue chips don't go down. Failing ones get rotated out with new ones. Do your homework. I am 20+ year is blue chip invested. I recently started trading emerging companies and it is mostly with a high failure rate. I am testing the waters from master class if proven folks in this arena

What an incredible story by Kelly! Congrats on what she's done at a such a young age! As a fellow Nigerian it is always satisfying to see stories of progress of those who came from a similar background as I have. One other thing Kelly has going for her is that because she's only 21, she has a much longer time horizon and therefore has a higher risk tolerance for the stock market. So she has time to recoup any losses versus someone in their 40s or 50s who typically can't afford to take that risk. Very important to bring up but still not to take away from what Kelly has done!
