Yep, it's real abalone shell. That's why it's so expensive. These are beautiful. I especially like the one with pieces. Your nails are beautiful, too. I hope you do more videos of you applying different colors. It's very relaxing to watch.

They are both so beautiful. The clear top coat made the colors pop but it also gave it depth. I could see the shadows in a different light. The real pieces to me is very beautiful and a natural look.

Oh my goodness ❤❤❤ I love these. I really can't decide which one I like best. I was thinking that one with the shell pieces might look nice as well if you left some black space, and the put like a line of gold I'm glitter or crushed glass, etc, between the shell pieces and the black before a clear top coat, if you know what I mean. Xx

They’re both lovely ❤. If you ran your gold pen around each of the smaller pieces before you encased them in resin you might get closer to your inspiration piece. I like yours just as much though 😊

I don’t have a favorite, they are both gorgeous!! Have you tried the Let’s Resin chrome markers? The gold is really good, but the silver is outstanding… Literally looks like real metal…

Nail question, does the system strengthen your nails, I have acrylic nails because my natural nails were so soft that they would constantly break below the quick, which is very painful. I used to go the silk wraps to strengthen them but gel nails are so much easier.

Yes, the gold line was drawn on and you could buy sheets just like theirs off of Aliexpress. I prefer the Mother of Pearl tiles. Beautiful. If anyone knows where I can find those, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

If you ever do it again, lay your pattern down face down on the back of the sheet of abalone and trace on the backing and you won’t have to wipe off the marker.
