I never understood bootstrapping but now I do. Win.😁

I'm glad you found it informative.

This was very good. The same style of bootstrapping is also used in class ab push-pulls.

Again great stuff TEH. BTW there's a typo in you circuit diagram ie "commen emitter". LOL

Tanks for pouting uot my speeling mistackes Dave 🙂I've amended it so it should not be there in part 2 should i use that bit again. Great that you liked it.

Another great video, I will digest it later as most of today I have been removing and fitting a new(from breakers) drivers Door, to the wifes Suzuki Vitara, so I am knackered 🙂 I could do with amplifying my energy😉

I thought I'd left a reply to your comment Fred, not sure where it went!!! If you want to pop over and work on my disco as your in to car repairs I'll get the Rizzla's in.

Great educational series. Makes me want to dive into my Art of Electronics bibles to brush-up on some of my mostly forgotten early learnings… since focussing almost fully on digital electronics. 🤔 🤓

well I've a big book on logic from uni days so may be some logic at some point.

With old age comes great things, but a good memory isn't one of them! :-) I had to check my books as well, having done it at uni is one thing buy remembering it is a whole different ball game :-)

Good explanation. At first it had my head spinning.. but that could have been the demon possession.
@TheEmbeddedHobbyist Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what type of BJT or FET is suitable for demonic possession 👿but garlic strapping might help

As well as imput impedance, in the next episode, could you also touch on tailoring the frequency response and how you would choose boot strap values for a specific output gain with say 100mv input. Keep up the good work.

I didn't get why R4 is cinsiderably large for AC
@TheEmbeddedHobbyist14 күн бұрын
it's due to the feedback, it places an ac signal one side of R4 which is the same amplitude and phase as the ac signal on the other side of R4. if both sides of the resistor have the same AC voltage, then as far as the AC signal is concerned the resistor must have a very high impedance. Both side of the resistor at the same voltage means no current is flowing between them. Not sure if I've explained that very well it's been a while since i made this video.
