I was stopped by a new cop in my small town because he didn't recognize me. He sped through a left turn in front of me, where I was stopped at the sign. I made my right and then a left at my street (the next one) about 1/4 mile. He came screaming up lights and sirens. I pulled over and got out of the car. He told me to get back in. I refused on the grounds that SCOTUS had ruled that if the vehicle is occupied it can be searched without a warrant, not if the vehicle was unoccupied. He asked how I knew that; I said because I paid attention. He said the Constitution got in the way of him doing his job. During this exchange his radio had been calling to check on him after he had (I assume) called in that he was making a stop (with siren blaring in background). Suddenly the entire six man department sped in to rescue him. The chief, who did know me in passing, listened to me and released me. There was nothing more for the cop than a stern comment - if that.

Did Bertrand ever have a loved one being criminally charged in ways hardly anyone else would have been and know the person becoming president would push for 20 years in prison for that person for that loved one? The "new fact" is that Trump is a malignant narcissist hell bent on retribution even against people who did nothing but their jobs in the field of law enforcement and the courts, and who's also hell bent on punishing Joe Biden for winning the 2020 election and choosing to do it through Biden's son, Hunter.

I grew up in St Louis. I grew up saying Mizzuruh. Rather than East/West the split seems to be more class/ethnic. There was a governor's race that hinged on which pronunciation the candidate used. The UMo cheer is Mizzu-RAH! Now I, an old geezer, say Mizzrr.

I don worry so much about Liz Chaney (although if other enemies are pardoned, she should be) because she can afford to fight with an expensive attorney. I do worry about others that can’t afford expensive attorneys and since I don’t know how fair our justice system is going to be under Trump, they will need excellent lawyers to fight!

Be consistent please-- is joe biden too old to run for president? Or he should get to work pardoning ppl that you havent mentioned until biden did it first lol
