This is acrylic on an old glazed ceramic plant pot.
I mix my paints with Floetrol (amzn.to/2BG5kka) and water and put silicone in some of the paint colours.
Most of my paints I use are Reeves fine artist acrylics like these on Amazon amzn.to/2GwJBRC .

With these colours I didn't want the pink that could have shown up with white. The plant will be the pop.

Mam what help does silicon do and why do you use hot gun on your painting. I absolutely new. Just watching your videos as I like them most
@McEArt
@McEArt 5 жыл бұрын
Silicone oil helps create the cell like shapes in the paint. I have not used hot glue so not sure what you are asking about here. Thank you for watching :)

With an minwax polycrylic I use it with a pot and saucer inside it so it is not sitting with water in.

Possibly labeled hater here. I did a thumbs down for this piece because of production values. Lots of irrelevant chitchat. Lots of “I don’t know what’s going to happen.” The teacher in me says why not say something along these lines: “This is an experiment with a special pot; I’m going to try XXX and see what happens.” The rest of the commentary should be about materials used, dilution of paint and use of silicone. The colors, pouring results and 360 view were lovely. I enjoyed the color effects no end because they are imaginative and much more unusual than most videos I’ve seen. I’m working up to trying this kind of pour. I know I want very few colors; I’m hoping to create a simple and subtle grazed look. And although the colors here speak to me not at all I can see that how they intermix is really quite subtle. I’ll benefit from the sense of freedom with colors you have shown me. Know that I truly appreciate your ideas and willingness to put yourself out in the world. Never ever will I be able to do that. So the educator in me urges you to figure out how to TEACH what you are sharing. I’m not sure how you can do that if you don’t know anyone who can coach you. Maybe take a look at Patti elof (?) decoupage videos. She is a master presenter. You have significant talent. You are willing-and able-to share interesting variations on the general theme. I urge you to take a hard, dispassionate look at your video. Don’t beat yourself up. You are just beginning your sharing of your talent. So, yes, I did a thumbs down because of production values and your consistent sharing of self doubt. But I think you are a thumbs up person; I think you are the sort of person who is constantly growing. If I didn’t believe in you I would have just stuck with the thumbs down and moved on. Wishing you all the best.

Thank you for sharing your point of view. My target is not to be a polished presenter but to share the fun I am having and invite others to play with paint and add some fun into their lives. To me that is far more valuable than being "perfect" which is not who I am. My point of view is be you and change the world as taught by Dr Dain Heer amzn.to/2EXQ2dN
