cried at the end..riding the bike with your daughter...reminded me of my dad when I was a little girl...dad made me a bike from parts he found at the dump...painted it purple and put a white basket on the front with ribbons sticking out the ends of the handlebars...best darn bike I ever had and I only found out it was homemade a few years ago so I get choked up =)

what a riddle you are, sir. Rough around the edges, a core of fine Sheffield steel and somewhere further inside, a heart of gold. I have watched you work, heard you complain, saw you stumble and then stand tall. I think you belong in my 'old' west: a man was thought good until he showed otherwise. Sir, you may borrow my horse while you need it more than me because I know you will return it.

Dada Fan Very wise and thouhtful words, sir. And yes, I too would lend this good man anything he would need. A decent Man he is.

Just want to say how much I respect you for the way you speak about your daughters. I loved my dad but I don't know if he loved me, he never said he did and the last time I was hugged by him I was 6 years old,...I don't know what he thought about me because he never told me ...when he died from cancer in october of 2015 I didn't grieve that he was dead, I grieved that any chance of having a better father/daughter relationship with him was dead.

MELODY MUNRO Your father was from a differant generation. My father never did a thing with my siblings and me. He was too busy working. I do believe he loved us in his own way, just hard for him to show any kind of love. I' m sure your father loved you but didn't know how to show it.

Before you put in concrete for the porch see if anyone has bricks or pavers cheap pr free in the area as it would give it a more rustic look. Easier to redo latter if you get movement and can pull parts if you need to run something under it. Also how is the rainfall in the area as rain catchment up on the hill could get a lot of water quickly in a good storm.
@ericpl72276 жыл бұрын
And bricks or pavers won't crack with the freezing and thawing, like concrete will!

It would have been a lot of fun if you had been there to see your daughter off to prom wearing a couple side arms
Watched it again and didn't see, would have been fun to see a big ole 350 on the side with another on the chest with extra clips... u know just for laughs like the scene from Bad Boys , something you could have video taped and broadcast at her wedding....heck the first time I met my future daughter in-law I walked through the airport with a poster size sign hanging from my neck with "Welcome to the family Jackie I am your father in-law" in big bold letters - now i need to out do it for my next son....
