Not watching live, probably just missed it. One question/suggestion I have is, can you improve how snow and low cloud/fog is differentiated on the weather forecast, radar maps? It's often very difficult to see what is snow and what isn't.

On today's Weather Studio Live, I couldn't but help thinking how some of Aidans expressions reminded me of Stan Laurel, including the hairstyle.

-8 was our low earlier this week. Barely crept above zero all week. Now we are in the amber snow area for Bert.

I would love to see you guys do a video on some of our more severe winters and what types of background drivers were causing them.

I used to live in USA and spend winter in New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver. The clothing I wore there it's NEVER been cold enough in UK to wear. Take for example my 200wt wool top, with my down jacket and my down parka. I can't wear the 200wt wool indoors in UK even with heating off. I've similarly been fine in 1 layer of gloves, not the inner+outer gloves and I've been fine in boots, no need for over-boots. I've also been in Phoenix, New Orleans, Houston where it''s been too hot to be outdoors and I had to avoid snakes in Phoenix. UK's weather is not far off t-shirt weather 99% of the time. Last winter I was in shorts throughout and all I did in winter was add a coat to my T-shirt. Where the UK has particular problem as it's never properly cold is the ice is slippy. In proper cold ice is not slippy at all, but in UK you can slip+fall on ice, so I have some slip-on ice grippers. So when visiting UK pack a coat and ice grippers and you'll be fine for all of the worst conditions.

We got a quite few cm in Filey on Wednesday. I was quite surprised as the weather app said it was raining (accuweather, apple weather and met office). It was beautiful.

Suggestion - A video in the jet stream; in particular the long and short term trends and how this factors into seasonal long term predictions (such as this winter being forecast colder than average)

Saw the show delayed.. sharper than the first two episodes I but thought Honor was going to have a crack this week.? All that about her covering for Annie and she has hardly been on our screens. Important.. well I think it is.. question. Why is it we rarely get High Pressure systems persisting for any length of time over Scandinavia these days.? I'm not talking huge blocking Highs or those that bring beasties from the east but the old fashioned last-for-four-last-for eight especially in Winter when we would get fairly dry often sunny wintery weather but it would stay cold..? These days the Lows seem to barrel in from the Atlantic and then depending where the European High is placed, slide off to the SE or NE.

Great show guys, low pressures can have explosive cyclogenesis, can high pressures get affected by the jetstream in a simular manner and does it have a name?

Love your work. Wondering if it might be possible to show a cross section or 3D representation of cloud cover and the air that's swirling about. 2D maps don't really give the full picture.

Hi. I realise not many Brits go to southern Europe at this time of year, but I'm flying to Naples (Italy, not Florida!) on December 6th, for a week. Is there any chance of a quick glances of the weather I can expect please?
