Where are you located? I’ve been wanting to setup a small garage setup, but Southern California summers make my garage extremely hot.

I am in north Carolina, it gets hot but only for a short period of time. I would recommend fans or chillers/mini split if it gets really hot.

What brand air pump do you recommend?

I am using mid grade air pumps from Amazon. Just make sure it's rated for the amount of tanks you have and have a backup...

@ I couldn’t find any creeping Jenny in my area this past spring and summer. I also had a landscaper looking for me. So I would say yes it would be a good idea.
